    My personal experience with Ocala upholstery is not a good one. I would totally stay away from these monkeys. I have a 2000 C5 Corvette convertible that was leaking on both the drivers and passenger side and the carpets would get soaked when it rained. I brought it there and had a new top and all new window/top rubber done for $3200.00. They had the car a total of 4 months and the cars leaks just as bad. Total waste of money with absolutely no good results. Now the owner is nice don’t get me wrong although one of their employees is a complete ahole who treated me like shit when I drove there to see what was going on with my vette, I won’t mention his name earl. But corvette tops is definitely not their specialties if they ever done them before. All I know is I have to take it somewhere else and have them fix their mistakes. Take this review with a grain of salt because it could happen to you.

    As a widowed senior citizen looking for a reputable company to replace the top on my 2007 convertible, I looked to our car club’s website. Ocala Upholstery had a great review posted by a member in 2019. Although the shop is a 60-mile round trip for me, I thought why look anywhere else? Over several appointments across 6 months, I had them replaced my top, motor/pump and the hydraulics and spent over $3000. Although I had confidence in the technician (business owner) my biggest complaint was trying to communicate with him. My calls were not answered requiring me to leave voicemails and text msgs, which were not returned. This required me to drive to Ocala at least 3 times just to talk to him. It was during my mid-November visit that he discovered a leak in one of the cylinders he had installed in June 2022. He said he’d order the new cylinder and call me when it came in. He was rude and made me feel like I was bothering him during a subsequent visit weeks later to find out when the replacement cylinder would be in. It’s 2 ½ months later and I still have not heard from him. In trying to speed things up, I sent him a link to a comparable cylinder on eBay that was Made in America and available within a week. Although he said he’d order it, I don’t think he did. My top has been inoperable for months waiting for this warranty issue to be resolved.

    We are very sorry for your inconvenience but we are not able to control the supplies and demands of the materials today not only are your parts on backorder and But and not in but as well other customers with many other things we are even running low on food and supplies in America. Your job was installed properly the problems your having is faulty parts which we do not make just install. Furthermore your parts are in and I will call you to schedule the install when I'm available

    Furthermore your car was not inapprotable it was not leaking or not allowing you to be able to use or drive it you just could not open your top door in this time
