      I purchased three truckloads of red clay to be delivered to my home on 03/30/2023 (Thursday) from Mid Florida Materials (MFM) in the amount of $988.62.

      I had landscapers scheduled to spread the red clay the following Monday. They quickly discovered massive boulders of rock throughout the clay and that it was not spreadable. When I ordered the material over the phone, Amanda told me it was equivalent to baseball diamond dirt. This was not what was delivered to my home.

      My wife immediately called MFM, and was told to send pictures, which she did. She was reassured that the issue would be dealt with.

      Over the next week, I spoke with Lisa, the receptionist from MFM. She has been wonderful to work with, but does not have the authority to resolve the issue. She read to me the email correspondence between herself and Brian H******, MFM Director of Operations. She had asked him to call me more than once. His replies to her emails was to tell me that I needed a jackhammer and larger equipment. This is not acceptable. Mr. H****** did not reach out to me in any form to try to resolve this.

      I called Lisa again one week later, 04/10/2023, asking for Mr. H******‘s phone number as I had still not heard from him. She was happy to comply and said that he was in the office as she could hear his voice. I immediately called and left a detailed voice message to remind him of our unresolved issue and asked him to return my call, which he did not do.

      I had asked more than once, for a representative to come to my property, to view the boulders, and to come up with a reasonable solution. Lisa has been the only person willing to speak with me, and should be commended for her outstanding customer service.

      At this point, I have three large mounds of boulders in my yard that I can not use and did not purchase. I will incur additional costs for having our landscapers return when I finally do have usable material on site.
