My wife and I made reservations at Alling House on March 27th. The reservations were for the Frontier Cottage on April 7 -8, 2023, and were made to celebrate my birthday. We were a bit disappointed to find out that they no longer serve breakfast, but the price was good. The new owner was the person who informed us while making the reservation, however, he did not inform us that we would not have WiFi access, as advertised. We paid $364,92 for two nights and were unable to look up local things to do to maximize our stay there. I called the main number, I was informed that they were working on the WiFi and If I had work to do that I could use the main house WiFi and gave me the code to the main house.

I paid for a cottage behind the main house that advertised WiFi. I am a 100% disabled veteran and I did not pay to stay in a cottage so I could want back and forth to the main house in order to use WiFi that was supposed to be in my cottage already. While the owner mentioned no breakfast, he failed to mention no WiFi and would have known at the point we made our reservation.

I know enough about WiFi technology to clearly see that there were no gateway's or extenders in our cottage for WiFi to even be available. It is also advertised, and photo's on the website show, that a PC Computer is available. There is no Computer of any type in the Frontier Cottage.

The fact that we would not have access to WiFi, especially on Easter morning when we were planning to FaceTime with our young grandson, daughter and son-in-law who live with us, and attempt to do our best to enjoy Easter morning together, definitely should have been disclosed to us prior to our check-in date and we could have made reservations at a facility with working WiFi.
