    I went to Orange Park Eye Center to purchase glasses before the year's end and my eyeglasses benefit for **** expired on December ***** ***** At the time of purchasing my glasses I was told that normally it takes about two weeks for glasses to be back in office; however, due to the holidays there may be a delay, and could take three weeks. I was okay with this before it was still before my travels. I called several times to check on the status of my glasses in January and my glasses were still not in. After my glasses were not given to me in that timeframe I was told I requested a refund and was denied by the office manager ******* After a verbal disagreement with her because not giving my glasses in the timeframe promised and denying my request for a refund because they have a no refund policy did not sit well with me as a consumer I asked for the owner's contact information. She told me that I could not have that information and she would have the owner call me back (********. On (******** ****** called me and apologized because the owner was busy with meetings and had not called me back but she wanted to ensure me that I would receive a call back. To date, the owner has never called me back, and I have never received my glasses or my requested refund.

    Thank you for allowing us to reach a resolution of this patient's complaint.

    After calling Ms. ******** and hearing her concerns, we agreed making her glasses took longer than expected. We do not customarily provide refunds and she signed a statement agreeing to our policy.

    However, since our delay required her to purchase glasses at another optical, we agreed to refund her $*** (see attached image of check). She is planning to come to the office to pickup her refund.

    We consider this complaint closed as we have agreed to her request.
