5 starsMy A/C was getting a routine maintenance, which was performed by Onei Whyte. Onei gave me updates as he was performing the maintenance and told me when he was about to be finished. He showed me all the photos of the service he performed and sent them to me in an email.. Onei was very courteous and professional, and I would recommend Frank Gay to anyone needing service on their AC.Frank Gay Services, LLC

1 starI used Frank Gay to repair a clogged drain in my tub . I was initially quoted 1200 dollars which seemed costly . Upon inspection, the technician said the tub would have to be removed to fix the drain. Then he offered to replace existing tub with a new tub. the new estimate for the finished job was 4500 without new tub to 5000 dollars with new tub. Really expensive! He told me the repair was costly because the repair was complex . That I shouldn’t use a handy man because I didn’t want a water leak into the foundation of my house . Next, the first technician leaves and a new technician arrives. He has difficulty with English language . Now there is a language barrier. .My old tub was removed . The second technician cut the drywall and tile out around the tub . He told me drywall repair was included in the estimate. He said dry wall repairman would come within a couple days to complete the repair . Next a Jack hammer was used to remove concrete around the drain pipe to improve accessibility. Within minutes the concrete was loosened and pipe was accessed. Plugged drain fixed . In my opinion , This was not a complex job . The work was performed painfully slow from start to finish. I believe the second technician work slowly on purpose to increase billable labor hours. I was charged 5060 dollars to switch a tub and unclog a drain. This is an outrageous charge! No written estimate was given to me . No detailed description of repair or labor performed . Drywall repair was Not included in the price. There was no eight year guarantee of work . I called booking the next day and was emailed a receipt .It described the work being performed as a new tub installation. No details of services performed . I know I was overcharged for services rendered. I’ve been trying to contact Frank Gay to make a complaint for two days. Booking tells me the manager will contact me . No one has reached out. I was taken advantage of . Don’t use Frank Gay if you value your money!Frank Gay Services, LLC
