I entered the store of this authorized **** retailer in December 2023 seeking information of new service. The sales person described a promotion where we would receive $1000 credits for the two iphones we were trading in towards new iphones. When the first bill arrived, we had received the appropriate credit for one phone but only $360 on the second phone. I phoned **** customer service and they directed me to return to the store. I returned to the store on 2/22/24 and spoke to the same salesperson who immediately remembered me as well as the promotion. He then phoned his manager on speakerphone and they said they would handle the issue for me and I would see it on the next bill. The salesperson showed me the email he typed to the manager as a summary of the issue and sent it while I watched. When it did not appear on the next bill, I returned to the store again and was told there was a new manager, ***********************. He asked me to return at 1:00pm for a meeting which I did, but he did not bother to arrive for the meeting. I got his card from an employee and sent him an email describing my situation. He phoned and sent me a follow up email describing that his employees were not aware that since they made me purchase one of the phones, it did not qualify for the entire credit. When I advised that I did not make the request to purchase the phone and I still expected the full credit since it was their error, his solution was to advise that he would inform the employees of their mistake so they would not make it in the future. I am simply seeking the promised $640 credit that I was assured of receiving on multiple occasions when signing a 3 year contract with this company.
