On 01/16/2025 I contacted DOZR Ltd. Regarding a telelift rental. I spoke to ********* Kat ******* She assisted me with the rental, quoted me a price, and charged my credit card for the rental to be from Jan *****, 2025. On Jan 23, 2O25 I received an email indicating my rental will be off contract on Jan 27 and pickup would be between 7-10am. January 27th came and went, Later on 27th I telephoned DOZR to tell them equipment was not picked up. I was assured it would be picked up on the 28th. January 28th I again contacted **** both telephonically and via email and assured it would be picked up on the 29th. Which it was. On March 12, 2O25 I received a bill for the 2 days (*****) for the two extra days. On March 13 my credit card was billed for the 2 days without my authorization. Between March ****** through a series of phone calls and emails disputing the charge I was eventually refunded the charge on my account on March 20. That was in part because I contacted the 3rd party United Rentals who understood the issue and contacted **** eliminating any late fee from them. On April 2, 2025 I received an email that I had an outstanding balance and late fee. I emailed and subsequently received a call from **** and explained I paid my bill in full, was refunded the 2 days charge, and my account was clear. Any error was in their invoice system. I received another email with a late invoice charge on April 9. I am requesting they stop harassing me for a bogus late payment.Initial Complaint

We rented equipment from **** back in June of 2024. In January of 2025 they sent me 2 bills, one for fuel and one for extra hrs. This is 7 months after calling the equipment off rent. I tried to dispute the bill saying that if we owed them money why was I not contacted in the normal 30/60/90 billing period? Billing somebody 7 months later is insane. This is far from normal business practice. They had previously said my account was paid and nothing more was owed. They said they were just passing along a bill from their equipment supplier. I told them I didn't rent from their supplier, I rented from them(DOZR). I had to cancel my card they had on file so they couldn't charge me. After several calls and emails with no change in their decision, they threaten to send me to collections. They lowered the bill from 1088$ to 975. I paid the balance and made them send me an email confirming my account was paid in full. The attached fuel bill doesn't show the date for the a ledged usage but it's from the same time frame as the equipment rental. We only rented one time from ****.Initial Complaint

We attempted to rent a forklift from **** in on December 10th, 2024. For some reason, they could not charge the credit card we provided. We needed the forklift that day, so they cancelled the order and we rented a forklift from another company. They sent me an invoice for a month long forklift rental despite us not having a forklift from their company. I emailed their team and asked them to look into it and stop sending me invoices. Today 1/27, they charged the credit card I provided for $2790.43 despite never providing me the equipment they charged me for, and my emails telling them they needed to stop invoicing me. When I call them directly, I get an automated answering system and sent to a voicemail for the "billing" department.Initial Complaint

I called DOZR on February 13th to rent a skidsteer through them for a day. The day we needed it was a weekend. So I specifically asked how that would work for returning the unit. We were told it goes by hours on the machine, not days. I called back to tell them we were finished and pick up was scheduled for Monday. I was then charged for another day rental for Sunday. They use digital invoices so they were able to go in and change the invoice making it look like we had not paid in full. I would like a refund of the partial charge to my card of $330 and for them to stop sending harassing invoices.Customer Answer

The company has agreed to refund the amount. We are satisfied with this resolution and no longer want to pursue this complaint with DOZR. Thank you.Initial Complaint

I rented equipment in 2022. The machine was paid in full prior to the rental.
First the rental showed up a full day late, which cost us labor costs for the day.
As agreed, the machine was filled with fuel at pickup.
Nearly a year later our debit card was charged for two fees, fuel and another unknown charge.
We contacted our bank and they reversed the charges.
I contacted DOZR letting them know the machine was filled. They refused to acknowledge and continued to pursue charges, adding late fees.
I told them I had a receipt for gas and they said I would need to supply a photograph to prove the tank was full. I didn't have a picture, as no one ever told us we would need it.
My husband is a machine operator, we are positive itvwas full. I asked them for proof that it wasn't. I assumed they had a photo, since that is the proof they wanted from me.
I emailed back and forth, requesting proof for months.
Then mechanical lien paperwork was received.
I called corporate and was told a supervisor would contact us right away.
Two days later and no response. We only had 10 data to resolve, according to the letter.
Now when I call it just rings, no answer. I've tried multiple times for two days.
They have fraudulently billed me and now are putting a line against my home. All without any proof, and almost a year after the rental, with no request prior.Initial Complaint

Do not use this company! We rented a mini excavator from them for two days and received a zero balance invoice. We thought all was well and done. Then FOUR months later, they charge our credit card another $515. After many frustrating attempts to get in touch with them, AP finally emails that we were late returning it which was not true. We call United Rentals to come and pick it up at the correct time. They charged us for another full day of rental for supposedly being 10 min late to call for the unit to be picked up. Four months later!! We've been trying to get Chase to reverse the credit card charge for two months and it is still ongoing. DO NOT USE THEM !!! SCAMMERS!Initial Complaint

I rented equipment from Dozr from Feb 2-6 2023. I paid my rental charge in full, and didn't hear anything back from Dozr for two months. However, I received a credit card charge first on 3/21/2023 for 112.53. I never received an invoice from the company, so I assumed this charge was a mistake. I called to get it straightened out and was promised that I would receive a call from the manager.
I never received a call from the manager, but later received an invoice claiming the added expense was for a cleaning fee. I know that the equipment left my house in the same condition I received it, so I asked for them to provide photos of the equipment that would substantiate the claims that it required cleaning. They have claimed they do not retain their photos for that long, however, I believe that they did not have photos of the equipment in poor condition because I returned it as I received it.
On 4/4/2023 I received another invoice, for 268.38 that seems to charge for equipment rental on 3/6/23, a day rental that would have been included in my rental. I called dozr again. They claim that the charge was due to a late equipment return. However, the rental company was supposed to come and pick up the equipment. I had a call with Dozr to confirm the same day pickup on 3/6 at 2:19 pm.
By 5pm that night, no one had showed up to retrieve the equipment. I tried calling Area Rentals, the company that was coming to pick up the equipment and no one answered or returned my call. The rental was picked up early the following morning without any further communication from Dozr or Area Rentals.
I would like these two erroneous charges to be removed from my account. I feel that the second charge was likely retaliatory for filing my initial dispute.
I will upload my invoices, and phone logs to verify my claims.Initial Complaint

On 2/16 I rented a Forklift for delivery w/ conf # ******** The reason for the rental was that I had a Freight appointment at 8am on 2/17 which is when I needed the equipment and I told the Dozr Employee about this requirement over the phone prior to approving the rental with my CC
Per DOZR confr on 2/16:
Rental Dates
Start: Thursday, February 16
(Afternoon 2 - 5 PM)
End: Friday, February 17
(Afternoon 2 - 5 PM)
DOZR requires an email cancellation request to have the equip. removed from the site and eliminate the chance of a 2nd rental charge for another day. I received the email request for cancellation at 7 pm on 2/16 and at 7:10 pm on 2/16/2023, I sent the response to cancel my rental at 5 pm the following day based on the information DOZR gave me.
I never received any further response from the company and then received a surprising second charge to my CC on 2/28/2023 for $481.94. This was a charge for a second day of rental which I did not approve. I contacted the accounting department via email on 3/1/2023 to try and get the cost refunded. They noted that the reason for the charge was that I requested a PU time of 5 pm on 2/17 and that since the rental began on 2/16 at 9:31 am the 2nd day of rental is valid and noted that the timeframe noted on the quote is approximate and is not guaranteed.
Not only did the company neglect to inform me that the delivery timeframe is not guaranteed, but they also never notified me when the equipment was delivered. This lack of information, gave me no way of understanding when the request for removal would be required before another day of the rental would begin only the continued confirmation of every communication with them outlining a start and end time of 2-5 pm.
They did not provide me with a clear understanding of if or when I would be charged additional costs. Had I been provided the proper information I would have notified the team of when to deliver and take away the equipment.
Thank you for your help,

Towable Boom Lift, 50 ft - Order #*******
I've used DOZR multiple times this summer with no real problems. But the last time I used them , they sourced me a lift that came broken. I worked for 2 hours on the lift only can be proven by the tracker in the machine before it broke down. I called them right away to let them know and no one came out , it was a one day rental and the job had to be completed that day. I couldn't even bring the machine back that day because the support arms of the trailer lift would not go up as the battery was completely dead. They gave me a lift with 2 hours worth of battery which would not charge because of a faulty wire. Now I asked for a portion of my money back as I never got to finish the job and even though i rented a lift had to hang off ladders on a steep roof to finish the job. I talked to a rep from Dozr multiple times over multiple weeks on an update to be told that UNITED would not give them any refund. He basically told me at this point you can reach out to them. I payed through Dozr to not have to deal with problems like this. This is on DOZR and they should pay for this mistake. I received a lift with not even 2 hours worth of battery that wouldn't even charge. I will never trust DOZR again to supply a lift to our jobsites.Initial Complaint

I was renting a truck through DOZR but picking it up at enterprise around 11-5-22. I got to enterprise but they had not received payment so I paid enterprise directly and took the truck. Little did I know that DOZR had taken my payment of $295 and $675 in total and still to this day hasn't paid enterprise which means I have been double charged. So I called DOZR at least 3 times and the only call back I get was them saying that they made a mistake and didn't charge me enough and that they ran my card (without authorization of course) and only got another $50 so now I owed another $350 for a damage waiver!!! I don't think so and yet today I get a notice that they are still running my card and got another $149. Again, enterprise never received a dime from DOZR and I'm all paid up. On top of that enterprise refunded $66 and now DOZR EMAILED ME AN INVOICE FOR $66. Please explain that! SCAMMERS!
