I found a charge on my bank statement from this company for $68.22 that was charged on 2/5/24. It prompted me to look at my previous bank statements and they have been charging me $68.22 monthly since at least September 2023. I have never had an account with this company. I looked the website up and tried emailing the the email listed but it was an invalid email and every time I have tried to call the number for support no one answers.

I had signed up for a free trial with Beonlookup.com on or about March 1, 2023. I had meant to cancel it after the search I'd done, but forgot. Then later in the month I saw the $68.22 Beonlookup.com charge on my bank account statement. I went back to the Beonlookup.com website and completed a form that was said to be used for requesting cancellation. That was roughly March 26, 2023. I assumed that was that. But apparently I have been charged the $68.22 every month regardless of my efforts (which are all reportedly noted in their file). I even called Beonlookup.com's noted **************** # *************), but, although they admit there is record of my cancellation requests (as far back as the original request in March) my account remained active because I didn't call them directly to cancel. When I asked why there is nothing on the site that says that the form has to be followed up with a phone call, I was told it was their policy. I even called another number from the Beonlookup.com website *************) which was answered by ************ employee who told me the same thing as Beonlookup.com. I could only get the last 3 months charges refunded, even though they admit to having my March request to cancel. I was told I can only get a refund for the past 3 months. I was told that it was stated that way in the terms and conditions. When I pointed out that the terms and conditions said all refund requests are handled on a case by case basis, I was just given more "policy" jargon. I was also told a number of e-mails had been sent to me telling me to call to cancel after I submitted the aforementioned form. I don't recall ever receiving any emails, nor can I find any in my files. I don't think it's fair that I was under the impression that I had done what I was supposed to be doing, but Beonlookup.com continued to charge me $68.22 each month. I am respectfully requesting BBB's assistance in obtaining a full refund from Beonlookup.com dating back to April 1, 2023.
