    On February 1st 2024 I made a shelving purchase as well as special delivery purchase which was **************** with inside delivery. The total purchase was $1,627.28. Upon delivery arrival the courier was unable to make inside delivery and attempted to leave the delivery on the sidewalk. I stated and showed the courier the paid invoice for "inside delivery". He informed me that ***** freight only does inside delivery on pallets and the pallet that it shipped on was to large to fit through the door. The company should have told me this at purchase, which they NOT they simply secured the sale and went on with normal business. I contacted the sales person to try and figure out a solution for them to honor the delivery instructions (which I paid for) and I was given the option to keep it and try and get it inside myself and they will take half off the shipping or they will accept the returned shelving back however, they are attempting to charge me a "re-stocking fee" for a delivery that they sold and excepted payment for. I expressed that the unsuccessful delivery was of no fault of mine and they should have made sure the delivery would work at my location before they charged me for a delivery service that was unavailable to my location. I would never had made the purchase if "inside delivery" which I paid for, was not an option for me. I have email correspondence as well as purchase documentation if needed. I am seeking a simple resolution to this by way of a full refund + full shipping refund whereas the unsuccessfull delivery was not my fault. I simply paid for a product and a service (which was not fulfilled). I received an email with delivery instructions and policies today 2/08/2024, AFTER the unsuccessful delivery and after I requested Full reimbursement due to their inability to deliver my shipment "inside" as paid for. I have been attempting to get the information for **** Displays legal representation which they are not responding back.

    We ordered a display case for our school. The case came in July, when the school was closed, and was received by our maintenance department. The display case was wrapped up and FedEx left. The next day, our maintenance department unwrapped the case and noticed an irreparable section of the case, quite prominent, that was damaged. They are not able to repair this. Our option from Barr Display was to keep the cabinet for a 5% price reduction or to ship it back at our expense. Since shipping was MORE expensive than the actual cost of the unit, that's not a viable option. I requested a 30% discount and was told "You can still use the unit" (because the damage was not structural, only cosmetic). Very disappointed that Barr Display sent us a damaged unit, or the unit was damaged in shipping, and our recourse is a 5% discount.
