      I joined 9Round kickboxing gym in 2021. Paying $94.79 per month. In March 2022 I decided to cancel my membership based on the fact that the owner of the gym could not keep good trainers staffed because she wouldn't pay them properly. Overall, after all the other gyms opened after COVID restrictions lifted, I was ready to find a better gym. I communicated with my favorite trainer at the time - Jane - and have texts confirming the day I would come in a fill out the cancellation form. I filled out the form on March 23rd and my membership would be cancelled April 23rd. On September 17th 2022 I realized 9Round never cancelled my account and has charged me $569 in faulty charges to my debit account. I called 9Round over 40 times, sent email, contacted on social media, no one would answer. I finally had to go to the location. A trainer named Jack told me they were in the middle of changing owners and removed my card info. The old owner ignored me until the new owner came in. Now the new owner says she will not be refunding me. Even though she owns another 9Round location here in central FL and has the funds. I tried disputing with my bank but since it's a debit card, and the transactions are over 30 days old, no luck there. I have proof in form of texts that I did go in and cancel that day in March.
