      - This business offers membership subscription and charges a monthly fee of $129.99.- Membership terms and conditions are not provided to the member.- Membership promises false benefits. (email advertisement attached) No reminders were received regarding membership benefits or perks.- Membership cancellation is by invite only. Upon submitting my cancellation request in writing, I was issued a 'gift card' instead of a refund on my "remaining account balance". There is no information on what that account balance is, how I may redeem it or check it. - Upon checking out the ****** and Yelp reviews of this franchise, it seems like multiple people are experiencing the same problem.

      Attached is the signed membership agreement for the client. On the membership agreement under the "Membership Cancellation and Termination" section, we inform that in order to "cancel this membership, a completed cancellation form must be submitted via email or presented in person to the studio at least 48 hours prior to the next monthly payment date, or other notice required by law. Cancellation will go into effect 48 hours after operator receives notice." The previous member was aware of this policy and signed to agree to it and adhere to it. Since the cardholder's account was still active, she continued to be charged per the agreement. There is no record of the client previously canceling their membership. The client called to cancel towards the end of December and requested to have her membership refunded, which we do not do, per the membership agreement. Out of generosity, we put those credits on a gift card for the client so they wouldn't expire. I also attached the email exchange where we sent over the termination form to the client and they were appreciative of the gift card as well. We are transparent when explaining our agreement, the cardholder simply forgot she had a membership even though we consistently sent them reminders of their account. All charges were valid and they agreed to be charged monthly, therefore a refund will not be given. We received back the signed termination form from the client (attached), and all payments prior to that date are valid and true. There will no longer be any future payments now due to the signed termination form.

      A copy of the signed agreement is not provided to member.
      I called to cancel an appointment and the membership in July. They told me it had been taken care of, and took my email and phone number off the marketing list so I would not receive any more correspondence. But they conveniently forgot to cancel the recurring charges, kept charging me for it and never issued any receipts.

      There is no record of the client requesting to cancel their membership. Per the membership agreement, a signed termination form must be provided at least 48 hours before their next payment. The membership agreement once signed stays with the studio, but client's can always request a copy. By the client signing the agreement, they're signing that they're acknowledging the terms and conditions. Attached is the invoice containing information about the refund performed and placed on a gift card for the client, out of generosity. I have also attached the voice memo from the phone call with the client, explaining our terms and conditions of the agreement, and us discussing placing those credits on a gift card for them. This has already been rectified via refund on a gift card. Also, the client's claim towards us unsubscribing them from our marketing list is false - that is something that can only be done if the client decides to be unsubscribed.
