      I contacted Bogin *********************************************** looking for counsel due to a car accident. I obtained them on 11/17/22. At first everything seemed to be going normal as this was my first time dealing with a lawyer so I wasn't 100 percent sure of what to expect. Almost two years later my case is still open. Every time I contact the firm my attorney ****** ******** is never available to speak to me about my case nor have I ever spoken to him the entire time. I've left many messages to speak to him directly and he never returns my calls. His paralegal **** ****** who is handling the case is also never available via email or telephone. They keep giving me the run around about my case. I'm still owed over ***** due to a chiropractor mis bill that was never sent to my insurance company. The firm has been paid in the sum of *****. It seems to me I no longer matter after they collected their fees immediately. I've loss wages going back and forth to drs and dealing with pain from my accident. I keep explaining to them I need the remainder of my money owed to me. I've had to call the chiropractor office to try and get the right information to give my insurance company. This is something I shouldn't have had to do when I obtained them to work on my behalf. This has been going on for over a year now. If you or your family and friends ever need legal counsel please choose a company that cares about their clients. Obviously this law firm is all about their money and doesn't really care.

      As the marketing director, I am not at liberty to respond in detail regarding this case. Because it is still an open case, we do not want any of the information below being made public. We are responding to BBB directly. If this information is going to be posted publicly, we will need to revise our response to remove any case details from being posted.

      That said, I spoke to Attorney ******** regarding *** ******* complaint and this was his response below. Please reach out to me directly if you have any follow up questions.

      ******** **** was involved in a minor MVA. The Defendant had a $10,000 Bodily Injury Policy. We settled both the ** and UM ($10,000 in UM plus $10,000 **) cases.She wanted her money immediately. Her only outstanding bill was the Chiropractor. So we were able to give her an itemized settlement statement and pay her over $9,000. Her Chiro was fighting with her insurance company over $3,604. We held that amount back in trust. We are ethically bound not to pay until the issue is settled with her insurance and the Doctor's office.

      We told her that as soon as they resolved the issue, we would give her whatever the balance. The insurance company was claiming that her chiropractor had billed incorrectly. We kept following up with the insurance company and the chiropractor. Apparently, *** **** was harassing the chiropractor so they sent her a bill showing what they would be owed after the insurance company was paid. They did this to get her off their backs. They did not send it to us.They did not tell her that the bill had not been paid yet.

      She then called **** complaining that **** was lying to her and that the bill had been paid. It has not. **** and *** **** were emailing and working on this as of last week. We contacted the Chiropractor who has now agreed to negotiate the bill and take a reduced amount (event though they have not been paid by PIP).So she will finally get the balance.

      I have personally spoken to her about this issue. As has ****. Her Doctor and her insurance company were the issue.
