I called Pro locksmith Tuesday night and ask them how much would they charge for a new key fob for a 2016 Chrysler 200 the manager told me $199 over the phone taxes included so i set up an appointment for 10am Wednesday morning so the Locksmith shows up 30 minutes late and writes an invoice for $379 and told me to sign at the bottom so I told him no because the manager told me $199 over the phone so he guy is arguing with me trying to make me pay him $379 so he called his manager and the manager tries to tell me a different story so we are arguing on the phone about why it cost $379 so after telling the locksmith to get out my yard they finally agreed to do it for $200 but I had to Zelle the money before he got started I was like I never heard of paying someone before they do the job but I finally agreed to pay him but I took a picture of the locksmith his van and his tag before I paid him just in case he ran off before the job was done so after he finally got the key made he leaves without giving me a receipt and I called the manager and him to bring me back a receipt so after he came back he parked his van in the road and made to walk over 100 feet to the van these guys are snakes in the grass and needs to be under investigation for scamming people out of money.

I think they are Scammers liars. I was called them last Saturday they quoted me ****** said they would be there is ************************************************************************************************************************************************************** the door so could not start the car. We waited 2 and a half hours and I called them back same lady she said we have no techs to send to you they are all on calls. so why did you say they would be there within 45 minutes to a hour?????? Then she said I would have to wait till one on the techs were done and available. It was a total of 6 hrs I waited another 45 minutes while he did it jamming to his music. A female officer drove my granddaughter and her friend to my home so they could get out of the heat and rest and eat. She was amazing so were was the ******************* amazing... When the guy finally showed up he was rude and starting writing up a paper receipt with all these charges 50 for registraion of key being made 50 dollars more for the Key and ****** to come out and do it before he even started. He could of cared less if I ended up sleeping outside on the sidewalk all night. He should of knocked ****** off just for lying about quote and cost and not every disbatching anyone till after already waited 2 and a half hours and then another 3 and a half hours before arriving.

I recently found myself in a frustrating situation where I locked my keys in my car. In my search for assistance, I came across ProLocksmith, lured in by their advertisements of low rates. I called them and directly inquired about the cost for unlocking my car. They requested the make and model of my vehicle, which I provided. Initially, they quoted a $49 service fee, which seemed reasonable.

However, upon the locksmith's arrival, the situation took an unexpected turn. Despite the initial quote, I was informed that the $49 was merely a fee for showing up, and an additional $89 was required to actually unlock the car. This bait-and-switch tactic felt highly unethical and dishonest, especially considering they had all the relevant vehicle information beforehand. Why would they need the make and model of my car if not to provide an accurate quote for the service required?

This experience left me feeling misled and disappointed. I advise caution when dealing with ProLocksmith and suggest looking for more transparent and honest service providers.

They quoted my son $50 over the phone. They then charged him $140 when they arrived. When I called to complain they basically blew me off. I want to know how they come up with their pricing. Worst company every!! Do not use them.

SCAM! They charge one fee over the phone and they don’t tell you there is an additional service charge on top! I declined service and then received a phone call wanting to negotiate - sorry bad practice and I will be sure to share my experience. Tech was nice and felt sorry he drove out for nothing.
