      Had an issue with my GE dishwasher where it was no longer drying at the end of the dishwashing cycle. Went with Appliance 1 Service after finding them through BBB. The technician was friendly and professional, and though they did not immediately fix the issue on the first try, they were persistent and made two more visits at their expense without charging me anything additional for parts or labor until the issue was fixed. For that reason as well as their competitive pricing, I will happily use and recommend them for any appliance repairs in the future.

      Service was great the day the part was installed. Then, the next day they sent the installer back to my house to tell me my initial payment didnt go through. Credit card company told them it did and there was no issues on our end, but installer wouldnt leave without the initial service fee or he would have to take the part, that we paid for separately, out of our appliance he fixed the day before. I asked to speak to the manager who was saying, my payment didnt go through, but he just kept repeating his policy about taking the part back that he installed if we didnt pay for the service fee. Situation got so intense that I had my family member write another check and called my credit card company back to put in a dispute. All this while I was at work. After he left he said, he would have his manager call me. No phone call. Not the kind of service I would like in the future.

      The customer is absolutely correct on this one. The mistake was on our part and the credit card merchant service that the company uses. The following day after providing the service to the customer, the company gets an email from the Merchant Service company stating that a reversal for the amount of $119 had occurred on the account. The email did not give any additional info as to which transaction or which customer, The account person got on the phone with the Mechant Service company to get the extra details on this reversal. The person that picked up sounded like they were from overseas. The communication was not %100 clear. When asked if the $119 chargeback/ reversal was from few days ago, they simply answered yes it looks like it. With that false information we then contacted the tech that completed this job about the chargeback, whom also happened to be doing another job nearby the customer's address at the time. We asked the tech to stop by to: 1) check with the customer to see what happened with this chargeback and 2) To do a follow up on the compressor job that was done to make sure the temperatures were okay. The customer was at work at that time, but her parents were. The tech explained the situation and got the customer on the phone as well. She was as confused as were. We explained to her that that we've been getting more chargebacks with credit card payments pretty frequent lately and that a lot of dishonest people don't want to pay for services provided. To make the story short, we came up with an agreement with the customer while she was at work over the phone that she could file the dispute for the chargeback and we would just hold on to the check her parents wrote the tech until all was sorted out. Everyone was confusion at that point. The company decided to give the Credit card merchant services another call to make sure we had the right customer for this chargeback. This time someone else from merchant services was able to assist us and looked into the $119 chargeback for more details. The company learned then that this recent $119 chargeback was not from this most recent customer, but was from a prior customer for a trip/ ********************** Fee from a month and a half ago. Learning the truth, we then had the same tech that went out there, contact the customer to explain the mistake and apologize on the company's behalf as well. The customer is right on this one! She had all the rights to feel the way she felt. The mistake was on our part.

      I found them through this BBB web site in the middle of May of 2024. They gave great service at a reasonable price.Yes I have already recommenced to friends and would use them again.Do not let their web site put you off. It is the opposite of shiny but it has the necessary information.
