    I requested service this year for my trees to be trimmed away from my house in March. I was very clear with the owner on what needed to be done. After the job was complete and not done at all to spec, I contacted the company the same day. It cost me over $3000. They told me they would come back out but never did. When I continued to complain, they said they would come back and charge me. Needless to say, it was a really poor experience. I contacted them multiple times by text, email and phone and they never came back to complete the work promised.

    Hired business to do tree work.

    Payment for tree service was made February 4, 2023.

    Business' quoted price included removal of two trees and both stumps ground down 6-8". This was documented in the quote.

    One tree and stump was removed according to quote.

    Second tree (the larger one) was taken down, but stump was not taken ground 6-8" below the surface. A large portion of the stump remained above the surface.

    Quote said there would be a final inspection to finalize job and make sure it was done to satisfaction. This inspection never happened, and business refused to return to job site for inspection.

    Business required payment after tree removed but before stump removal. This process was completed according to the quote. They took the money, but didn't complete the job, refused to return, and have stopped communicating through email or telephone.

    Mr. ***** you are stating false communication when you sign a contract that state "Job Completion:
    After job has been completed and customer agrees job has been done to their satisfaction
    Lady Maria Tree Services will NOT go back to do anymore work on proposal that was
    completed unless they paid more for additional work with a new proposal)
    Stump and Root Grinding/Removal: Stumps will be ground to a depth of between 6-8?
    unless another specification is provided in the Proposal or Change Order. Unless otherwise
    agreed to in the Proposal or a Change Order, the following are not part of the Contract unless
    an amount or a rate is specifically listed

    Correct you paid for a job that finished and completely please refer to contract

    We are not going back on our contract to refund his money or any settlement he sign a contract clearly that state he was responsible to agree upon job agreement and he agreed on everything after job was complete. This is situation is very unfair we are small tree service business and family owned we strive to used do every job honestly and complied with every customer we have 5 star reviews on google and angie leads and thumbstack. Lady Maria Tree service feels at this point customer wants to complain on a job that was successfully completed.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    The job was not done to completion.  I never agreed the job was done and when I asked them to come look, they refused.

    I am having trouble finding a way to be more clear.  The document they keep referring to says there will be a final inspection.  This final inspection was not done or even attempted by them because they refused to come out and look at their work.

    This is not a nitpicky complaint.  The document says the stump will be 6-8" below the surface.  There are areas where the stump was left well above the the surface. They refused to do a final inspection. 

    This business promised a job, in writing, took payment for that job, did not deliver on that job, and then abandoned the job refusing to return.
