    I had the company, Lars Air, LLC installed two HVACs in my house in Daytona Beach. One on the 1st floor and the other on the 2nd floor. Within the first six months, the HVAC on the 1st floor was blowing less and less cold air. I repeatedly called the owner to have him to come out to check the problem. He kept making excuses as to why he couldn't come out immediately. He finally came out a few months later and told me there was a problem with a part in the furnace blower. He removed the part and took it with him to fix. After months of repeatedly calling the owner to find out when he would return to fix the problem, he finally informed me that he was out of the country. By the time he got around to contacting me, he couldn't even remember the problem. As a reminder, I had to take and send a picture of the inside of the furnace with the missing blower part. It was weeks later when he finally came out to fix the problem, which included adding freon. He then wanted to charge me a service/trip fee. He claimed it was beyond the 1-year warranty period, but I reminded him that the problem was reported within the 1-year period. It wasn't my fault that he failed to resolve the problem in a timely manner. After he fixed the problem, he left without saying a word. When I checked the furnace, there were a number of screws removed, but weren't replaced on the furnace. They were just lying on the floor below the furnace. Unfortunately, I have experienced nothing but problems with both units purchased and installed by Lars Air. I would not recommend that anyone use this company.

    Wow, ok
    I installed two new systems in the house that was still under construction from to hurricane damage or something. After the installation I specifically ask the owner to keep the downstairs unit off during the construction, otherwise the air handler coil may get damaged from the concrete and dry wall debris. One year later the owner called and said that the downstairs system is not working. I came over and find out that the air handler coil had no filter and was completely cover with dry wall dust. System was low on gas and because I couldn’t locate the leak, I Pressurized the system with the nitrogen, isolated indoor and outdoor unit and came back the next day and find out that the leak is in the air handler coil. We had to wait few days for the part, it was replaced and covered by the warranty but the refrigerant is never covered. The owner refuse to pay, so I finished the job and ask not to call me again. Please don’t blame me for your own equipment neglect. Have a great one.
