    I would like to file a complaint and was hoping you can help me resolve this issue. I booked a moving quote with **** back in December. The purpose of the move was to seek treatment for cancer in ******* close to my family. During the course of things and close to the moving date which I would like to apologize for but it was out of my control I had to cancel my move. My doctor deemed me medically unfit to travel (high risk) and with that I had to stay in ********** to start treatment. At the time of booking I needed emergency surgery and moving forward I am currently on chemotherapy. I am happy to share these documents with you so it doesn't appear like a cheap attempt to get out of this transaction. Why are ******* and **** fighting a cancer patient and refusing to refund me $2000.00. I am currently paying for medical bills to cover chemotherapy. How can they not have come with even a portion to return to be fair with what was booked on your end? ******* called me once I wrote a review only to tell me she "WON" and didn't need to return the funds. I never met two individuals willing to be so rude and mean towards someone literally fighting for their life. I am sending proof of ********* email as well to this email. Can you please assist me with this matter? I would accept the credit for future dates but I do not think this would happen any time soon and I don't know anyone moving. Please note: This ******* removed all my reviews off ****** and other websites. Please see attachment Thank you, ******

    In September, I went into this store to ship a package via *****, since they are an authorized shipper. Despite having the package measurements available, the store insisted they needed to take new measurements. I had already priced out on *****'s website, what it would cost me to ship this box. The package contained equipment I'd received from my job, which they shipped via *****. The company had provided detailed tracking information from ***** and *****'s website includes the package dimensions - measurements and weight. Unfortunately, due to the staff incorrectly measuring this package, I was overcharged for the price of shipping these items.

    Shipping is based on actual weight, dimension and destination.

    Some boxes have measurements on them, which is inner dimensions. Shipping is based on outer dimensions. This is why we measure all boxes.

    When customers come in, all packages are measured and placed on our scales (which are physically inspected by ********************************* annually).

    All this info in then entered into our POS system.  The carrier then let us know what the cost is to ship the package.

    We believe that the seasoned staff member did their job correct and this complaint is not valid.

    This company is a complete scam! I told them I had a 10 x 10 storage unit and an entire apartment to move and they underquoted me by half. Then they told us they weren't going to let go of our deposit. They waited until the last minute to double our price and is trying to hold on to our money. They scam people and it is wrong. These are not ethical business practices. They also don't give the broker fee back. This if false advertisement at best.

    We were moving out of state and needed a mover. Based on reviews online and talking to Safe Ship we selected them. We knew they were a broker, but were assured they only used top rated movers and could be contacted if issues arose. They say we are part of the family and will be taken care of and are reachable if there are issues. Their fee was $5,8000 plus mover's fee. 3 days prior to the move we had phone call with them to review the initial inventory, we measured furniture for accurate information for the move. Based on call and size of the furniture and items the cost of the move increased $2,000. They said 1900 cubic feet was sufficient for all items. On the call I specifically asked will I be upcharged at time of move for fees, the *** said based on experience he didn't think that would occur. That was incorrect when the movers arrived they said we needed 2400 cubic feet and charged an additional $2,800 or they would leave. We learned that the mover selected has an F rating with the BBB. Finally when the issue arose, i was on hold for 15 minutes no one answered. I had no choice but to pay the mover the extra money. How is it that an experienced moving broker miscalculate space by 500 cubic feet. I am seeking a full refund of the broker fee. Their practices violate the FCC's unfair and deceptive acts regulations. This was pure bait and switch, every statement made was inaccurate especially since they used an F rated BBB mover. The movers were over 2 hours late for pick up, had a truck that was too small, had to return the next day to pick up the rest of our stuff. I have yet to receive any inventory of my items. I am seeking advice from a consumer protection attorney and contacting state consumer protection departments. This is a huge scam and unfortunately they have slick salesmen and we fell for the scam. We are seeking a full refund of the broker fee $5,000 due to their dishonest, unfair and deceptive acts and failing to abide by the terms of the contract.

    THIS IS GETTING TO BE VERY ANNOYING THAT THESE COMPALINTS COME IN TO ** AND NOT THE APPROPRIATE C*** MOVING BUSINESS.

    Is there any way that you guys can flag this business so that we don't get these complaints, and they go directly to this horrible moving company.
