I visited this place for a mammogram and ultrasound. My gynecologist referred me here, I verified with my insurance company before appointment to confirm all services are covered. I paid $140 before receiving any services because that's the estimated co-insurance and co-pay. A month later I received a bill for $57. I started calling my insurance company and Adventhealth to ask what's the amount for, because based on the invoice I was billed over my co-insurance. My insurance company said they received FOUR claims from Adventhealth, and they paid for everything. Adventhealth said they would investigate that, but no one on the phone including the supervisor was able to answer what this amount is for. Next, I received another bill a few months later for $83, I called my insurance company and Adventhealth, and again, Adventhealth said they would investigate that. I have been calling AdventHealth again and again because based on the invoice from adventhealth, they billed something i didn't do, they billed me ECHOgraphy, transvaginal; and echo, Pelvic nonobstetric. But i only did one ultrasound to check my fibroid, not both transvaginal and abdominal. but every time i called adventhealth, the rep always said she understood my situation very well and will request a review, and multiple reps told me that there were two duplicated claims. Adventhealth just need to move the amount my insurance company paid for the two duplicated claims and i wouldn't have any balance. But after months of waiting, not only they sent my $83 bill to debt collection, they also increase the amount i own them to $153. I have been actively solving this issue them but it has always been a one way communication. I'm very tired of them being so irresponsible like this. My insurance company was on the phone with me and AdventHealth multiple times to clarify the issue, but Adventhealth always give me the same answer which is they'll investigate, i never receive a clear explanation from them.
