I made a claim with my warranty company about my HVAC, they assigned Heat Cool Guys. The tech came out and installed the new system. They used part of the old system which was not supposed to happen because they were supposed to replace the whole system, they did not foil wrap the mastic and poured it all down the side of the unit, holes that were not sealed, and the P-trap was higher than the drain coming out of the system so water is just sitting in it. I called the county, and no permit was pulled. The company called me, after they were contacted, and gave me some excuse about it falling through the cracks, which I do not believe. This is their business, and it is the law. They wanted to come out and look at the issues, but I told them, since I was told the job was completed, I wanted the inspection to be done first, and they agreed. Then they changed their minds. The breakdown of the large portion I had to pay out of pocket, from the warranty company, listed electrical modification. No permit was pulled because they are not licensed to do electrical work. They told the county that they didn’t do any electrical work. Either they defrauded me, or they lied to the county, or they lied to the warranty company. The tech called me and told me that he hadn’t placed the pad on the outside unit, which I did pay for, because the company didn’t give it to him, they weren’t even going to tell me that. He had excuses as to why he did a bad job such as: he had a death in the family, and he was sick. Having personal issues and doing your job should be mutually exclusive. If you can’t keep those separate it does not give you the right to come to my home and do the worst ammeter job you could possibly muster. He argued with me about the absence of foil tape around the mastic and insisted he put it there. My vents are also dripping water onto my furniture, carpeting, and floor now. I am not stupid, nor am I a push over, and I do not like being lied to or taken advantage of. This company did all of the above.

I am rejecting this response because I am still having issues even after the tech came out today, mainly I have no power to my thermostat now and my house is freezing, and there has not been an inspection yet.

      Sincerely,
