    HIGHSTEELE FENCING WAS HIRED AFTER AN EXTENSIVE BID PROCESS TO ERECT A PERIMETER FENCE WITHIN OUR COMMUNITY (APPX 3500 LINEAR FEET) IN LATE 2024-2025.
    OUR ASSOCIATION ATTORNEY WROTE AN AGREED UPON CONTRACT BOTH PARTIES SIGNED IN JULY 2024.
    THE FENCE WAS ERECTED BY HIGHSTEELE BEGINNING NOV 5,2024 AND FINISHED IN MID FEBRUARY 2025 ABOUT 3 WEEKS PAST THE CONTRACT DATE TIMING.
    THE ISSUES HAVE BEEN THERE IS STILL SOME WORK ON 2 PROPERTIES 489 AND *** ******** **** BETWEEN THE HOMEOWNER AND INSTALLER THAT HAS NOT BEEN COMPLETED.
    A LARGE PILE OF DEBRIE AND TRASH LEFT ON THE HOA PROPERTY, MATERIALS LEFT FRONT GATE, MATERIALS IN OUR POOL AREA, MATERIAL IN OUR MIDDLE GROUND, PIECES OF VERY LARGE CONCERETE SCATTERED ON THE PROPERTY NEAR THE FENCE.
    WE HAVE CALLED, TEXTED, EMAILED OVER 15 TIMES BEGINNING FEBRURAY 18,2025 AND HAD OUR LAWYER DRAFT A LETTER LATER IN MID APRIL THAT OUR BOARD SENT DIRECTLY TO HIGHSTEELE FENCING ( ATTACHED) ASKING THEM TO ADDRESS THESE ISSUES.

    WE HAD 3 REPLIES OVER THE PAST 3 MONTHS FROM HIGHSTEELE THAT THE REQUESTS WOULD BE TAKEN CARE OF AND IT NEVER HAS. EACH TIME THE HOA HAD CHANGED THIER PERSONAL SCHEDULE TO MEET THE INSTALLER ON PROPERTY
    THERE WAS ALSO AN INSTALLTION TOOL IN THE CONTRACT THAT WAS TO BE LEFT FOR THE HOA TO USE IF LIGHT FENCE REPAIR WAS NEEDED (WE HAVE REQUESTED THAT TOOL OVER AND OVER AND IT HAS NOT BEEN DELIVERED DESPITE PROMISES IN MARCH AND APRIL IT WOULD.
    WE HAVE ASKED SEVERAL TIMES ABOUT OUR LIFETIME WARRENTY AND DETAILES HOW WE WOULD PROCEED IF THAT WAS NEEDED IN THE FUTURE WITH NO FEEDBACK. THE WARRENTY DETAIL IS SPECIFICALLY LISTED IN THE CONTRACT SIGNED BY HIGHSTEELE, BASED ON THE LACK OF FOLLOW WE WOULD LIKE TO HAVE THE WARRENTY INFORMATION IF HIGHSTEEL REFUSES TO HELP US HONOR ANY CLAIMS THAT MIGHT BE NEEDED, WE JUST NEED THE INSTALLER TO COME IN FOR 1 DAY AND TAKE CARE OF THESE ISSUES, PROVIDE THE TOOL AND WARRENTY INFORMATION TO OUR SATISFACTION SO WE CAN CLOSE THE JOB OUT AND WE ALL CAN MOVE ON.

    High Steel Fencing installed a privacy fence for me in July 2023. When they did they cut down a Red Japanese Maple Tree. I paid the full amount that they quoted.me of $7023.35. They offered me $100.00 off of the full price which I would not accept because there is no way that you can replace that tree for a $100 (even with the smallest potted one). Since then I have had conversation with an employee named Clay. .He indicated that they would replace the tree and we even discussed where to plant it. Since then I have received no further action. The week of October 23rd I made four calls to High Steel Fencing to have Clay call me which he never did. I called October 30th and requested the owner call me which he never did. I want my Red Japanese Maple Tree replaced.

        Thank you for reaching out to me.

     

    On page 4 of your contract you will see the following statement that you signed next to under "Prior to installation".

     

     "Protect any plants or landscaping that may be in the area of the fence."

     

    Mr. ****** the tree was not protected or marked, and our team did damage the tree.

     

    That being said, I did agree to replace the tree in hopes to salvage our relationship. 

     

    It is solely my fault for the tree not being planted yet. Honestly, it slipped my mind. This year has been a very busy year, but that is no excuse. Please reach out to me directly ******************** and I will coordinate when the best time for us to come out will be.

     

    Thank you for your business and I do apologize for the tree being damaged.
