    On May second 2024 I was in an accident and had my vehicle towed to Palm Bay Collision Repair. This has led to me not being able to make daily appointments such as doctors appointments and normal appointments with daily activities. My vehicle was damaged with paint chips on the hood that was not part of the initial accident at Palm Bay Collision Repair. I wanted my vehicle removed from Palm Bay collision repair to an approved shop by my insurance company USAA (which is possible via USAA guidelines) and I was told that, thatll not be possible without release of vehicle. This is after I was already told at an earlier date (the week of (6/24 to 6/28 estimated) that my vehicle would be able to be removed from that shop to a USAA approved shop. Owner of the shop refuse to release my vehicle even after me waiting past the date of full repair. Ive provided USAA (insurance company) a *** shop as well as their corresponding shop for my vehicle to be moved to an they say without Palm Bay Collision repair shop release this matter will have to be escalated. Its been nearly two months and Ive been suffering due to accident injuries and not able to make appointments as Ive already elapsed my rental time frame. I believe if possible a civil suit will be my next step.

    Please review our attached notes on this repair order showing the timeline of events. We were shooting to have the customer's vehicle completed by Friday, July 19, 2024, however it was not ready until the next business day which was Monday, July 22, 2024. Customer mentioned on Friday, July 19, 2024, when he was told that his vehicle would not be ready until Monday, July 22, 2024, that he waanted it released. His vehicle was apart and work was in process. We were not in a position to release the vehicle back to the customer. The vehicle was ready the morning of the next business day. ********************, the owner of Palm Bay Collision Repair, did free work on the customers hood, free undersheilding and offered to pay for a rental. We feel we did everything we could to keep ****************** happy.
