    This medical office is charging me for a day of service from may of 2024 over a year later after my medical insurance already cover the cost of the bill. the business cash the check and also is trying to collect money from me by telling me that my insurance didn't pay them , which it is illegal since they accept my insurance. Also the business is denying services to my young baby due to this so call balance which is not even from her account. I contacted my Insurance and they have confirmed the payment

    We find your perception that the office is overbilling worrying and alarming. We can assure you that we took all reasonable additional steps to investigate and verify with your medical insurance provider before responding to your formal complaint.
    To better assist you, we kindly ask you to carefully review and consider the formal explanation of benefit (EOB) determination from your medical insurance provider for services under your claim numbers below:

    We have recently called your medical insurance provider to inquire about your statement of payment of $886.36 for your claim, made and deposited by our office. As per call reference RobertB51525 and TinaS51925, they dont have any records of payment to our office against your claims in question and still require additional steps to adjudicate your claims.  
    Additionally, our staff is instructed to never deny an appointment for evaluation and management of a medical problem for the sole purpose of a family account balance. We are actively investigating call records and are very committed to any corrective actions arising from any unsatisfactory finding that goes against our core values and protocols. We do have records of recent appointments booked for your child, and we encourage you to continue scheduling visits for any ongoing medical concerns.
    Our staff have dedicated a substantial amount of time re-submitting,appealing, providing the medical insurances formal determination EOBs with denials,explaining the reasoning given to us for your medical insurance not processing your claims, our extended actions and limitations to help resolve the issue, and the steps you need to take, adviced   by your medical insurance provider, to resolve the issue.
    We will continue to offer clarification and reasonable additional actions to resolve this matter in good faith. We also want to make sure you understand and consider the adverse impact against our office and consequences arising from false statements of fact based on informal miscommunication or miss-interpretation that may arise from a third party. We trust the Better Business Bureau (BBB) representative's intent to help resolve this issue.  Within this goal, please provide BBB with an authorization for the release of your PMI and financial records so that they can properly address and verify your concerns with facts.
