I am a senior citizen on disability. I supplied the motor vehicle paperwork in 2023 for my parking disable place card, I received my two parking disabled card along with my registration. My place card got lost or stolen. I do not know which one, so I feel that the form I sent in a copy of my registration, drivers license, and the form that Im supposed to fill out. I got a letter back from the highway motor vehicle claiming that I have to read have my doctor sign, that is not correct. I do not have to have my doctor sign since I just got my place card in 2023 and it doesnt expire till 2027, that is when I need my doctor to fill out the police card. Since my place card got stolen or lost it is supposed to be replaced free of charge I called and call, Tallahassee and all I get is the runaround. I am disabled and Im senior citizen and I should not be going through this hassle. I need my police cards replace without any technical difficulties thank you.Initial Complaint

My drivers license needs to be reinstated as I have paid court fees related to the situation to Marion County, **. I faxed the court Affidavit from Marion County (attached) to Driver License & Motor Vehicle Services (DLMVS) and need to pay a required $60 reinstatement fee to DLMVS. I have tried both customer service numbers and continually wait for hours only to be hung up on. It is critical that I get my license reinstated so that I can apply for an ******* license to be able to get to work. I purchased a **** Trans Am from *********************, *************************. ********************* repeatedly assured me that there was nothing wrong with the car. I paid $1500 extra to have it shipped to my home in ********. On the morning of 09/27/2023 the car arrived at my residence. Upon inspection of the car, I noticed a gas leak, a major antifreeze overflow issue, non working or missing seat belts, and most importantly severe damage to the front tires on both the driver and passenger sides of the car. I have pictures. I immediately tried reaching out to the dealer, *********************. He wouldn't answer my calls, the transport delivery guy tried and he wouldn't answer his call either. My wife used her cell phone, I assume he didn't recognize the number and he answered. He was very rude to my wife and accused me of wrecking the car and causing the damage. When I told him that was not the case, he immediately blamed the hauling company. The damage was not indicative of transport damage. The tires were shredded and obviously to large for the front of the car and were torn up from driving, not transporting. I know I purchased an "old" car, with an "As Is" warranty but I was mislead and deceived by the seller's ad and video of the car. It was portrayed a lot better than it actually was. The seatbelts were missing or not usable. I had to purchase new tires in order to just be able to drive it so I could have it checked by someone. The tires damaged the paint causing it to chip, flake and crack. There were many things wrong with this car, but all I am seeking is reimbursement for the tires I had to purchase and the cost of the bodywork and paint to fix the damage caused by the tires, ********************* had on the car before it got to me. I don't think this is an unreasonable request. There were many other things as I mentioned above, but all I want is for ********************* to reimburse me for the tires and the cost of the paint and body work. On the week on January 26,2023 I purchased a License renewal with EXPEDITED shipping from Flhsmv website for $50 plus tax and shipping. Three weeks came and went and a had an upcoming business trip scheduled for March 15th, on March 6th I called the first customer service line that would actually pick up as most of the numbers listed on their site are no longer in use. The agent I spoke with apologized and confirmed my current address claiming to have reshipped my renewed license, promising Id receive it before my business trip. Not only did she refuse to provide me tracking info, she claimed this so-called state-run agency doesnt do that. So I could not verify that my new ID was shipped. It is approaching 3 months since I first ordered my ID. I can no longer commute to work, renew my insurance, take any trips or use any services that require an ID including calling Lyfts/Ubers. This negligence and poor customer service has not only impacted my life in every aspect, I am no unable to pay bills as the bank requires my ID be valid and not expired. It is shocking to me that a state-run agency can be so negligent and unprofessional with such important citizen documents.
