I called to get a tire put on my motorcycle that went flat due to a nail. He put a used 10 ur old tire on the bike and patched the inner tube. Never told me I needed a $29 tube. If he was going to just patch the tube could of kept my 2 yr old tire that was in better shape. Next morning rode the bike and it went flat. Took it to another motorcycle store for repair and they said they have never seen a tube patched. It's very dangerous on a motorcycle. Called and he said he didn't have a tube so he patched it. Selling a tire that is 10 yrs old is ridiculous and patching a tube that was on the curve on the tire. This could of ended tragically if it would of went flat while driving seriously injuring the driver over ***** repair work. The shop never gave me a detailed receipt showing what was done. I will be inquiring with the **************** to see if this shop has a required business license to sell used tires.

Customer came to me and stated he want to replace a tire. He said used tire is ok to him. I showed him a used tire with good thread and he approved it. He never asked how old is that tire. I didnt know too. Tire dont have any defects, dry rotten spots or anything else whatsoever. He never asked me to replace the tube. I fixed the tube as I always do as a nice gesture. I did not even charged him for that. Its a common practice to fix a tube with a patch. The other mechanic that said that he never saw a patched tube before is either unexperienced mechanic or just want to sell him a new tube ( I believe in second). Also customer tried to extort money from me for a light he broke and tried to blame it on me. Btw according to BBB rules BBB doesnt resolve issues with professional procedures which is exactly this one. If my repair fails I always offer to my customers to fix it free of charge. This customer did not gave me a chance to resolve the issue. He found inexperienced unprofessional mechanic instead who just wanted to sell him new parts.
