      Our home had a flood in 2021 and we still do not have our home put back together in February of 2024! Swyftt Insurance claim # SWYCSHO00073. Over a $200,000 insurance claim.
      Paul Davis of the Emerald Coast had issues with retaining employees, project managers and subcontractors. We depended on Paul Davis to guide us through the process, to work with us explaining the steps needed to repair our home and to clearly and effectively communicate things with us, they failed miserably. Paul Davis of the Emerald Coast took our house apart with no clear plan on how to put it back together. They removed our contents without properly identifying, sorting or storing them. Resulting in subsequent damage and loss to our personal property. Their negligence throughout this process resulted in all of our appliances being ruined. We received several emails and fines from our HOA for PDR not abiding by our neighborhood rules and regulations. They ruined our porches and driveway by neglecting to have their contractors clean up after themselves properly. Their negligence resulted in multiple setbacks and delays. The wood floors were delivered at the wrong time because of lack of communication. The kitchen cabinets were not measured properly and then were installed incorrectly because no PM met the crew onsite to explain the layout. We were RARELY told who was going to be working in our home. We were not given names of contractors, or their credentials. Project Managers RARELY met employees at the property. Our home was left unlocked and unsecured numerous times. We were not given formal weekly updates or progress reports. We had to repeatedly request updates! When we asked questions about timeline or repairs we were often met with snide remarks and excuses. I was belittled, talked down to and made to feel stupid throughout the reconstruction phase.

      We encourage all feedback and although we do not always agree with the portrayal, we consider it an opportunity to get better.  Our industry is one where the quality of the work is subjective; where one client is thrilled another may be completely displeased.  As this customer is aware, we are at this home currently re-doing the list of work requested, in hopes of meeting this customer's satisfaction.  We pride ourselves in helping folks in their time of need and have staffed the company with the best in the business.
