I spent four month calling this company and finally getting their crew to come out to do a warranty claim on my PGT windows. They are opening a new office in Pensacola, but all the calls had to go through their main office to Judy in Panama City. The crew complained the entire time about how they don't like doing warranty claims. They said they lost money on the last claim they did, but Judy forced them to show up at my home. PGT main office approved my warranty for 3 of the 7 windows but then after 3 months had approved the remainder of the parts needed.
The owner of Pro Window & Doors today told Judy, "The charge to get my windows will be $350+ delivery, and we will not install them." They wanted to charge me $350 to process the paperwork+ shipping charges which had never been mentioned, and said they could install my windows. I had to wait two months for the new office to bring out the new window installer for the very reason of installing the new windows.
What a total rip-off of a company. let's change the rules, and screw the guy $350 + shipping to just come get hs windows.

We do not do service or do warranty work for products we did not sell. Your order was placed through another company many years ago. The manufacturer PGT agreed to give you the replacement glass and parts under warranty and you asked us to have them shipped to us and deliver them to you. We charge $350 for delivery to cover gas and time for our employees. We have relayed this to you and you refused, so we did not order your glass and parts. We can not deliver these products at no cost as our warehouse is in Panama City and your home is in Pensacola. We are opening a new location in Pensacola, however the warehouse is not up and running yet. We still will not do the installation or warranty work as we did not sell you the windows, but once our warehouse is up and running you have the option of picking up the parts at that warehouse at no charge.
This was all communicated to you multiple times. I am sorry you feel $350 is a lot to deliver the glass and parts to you from Panama City to Pensacola however we simply cannot do this at no charge for something we never sold and someone we have never done business with.

You are lying about the circumstances. Why would I bring a crew out to my home, unless they were going to install my windows. The last time I called I was discussing replacing my bathroom window made go glad blocks with a clear window, and then found out you entirely changed the situation. I NEVER asked you to order the windows and deliver them, and no money was ever mentioned. In fact you're an approved PGT window company, so you kinda have to install their windows. Their logo was on every guy's shirt. You DO "install other people's window's" Because their PGT's windows; YOUR chosen supplier. To further illustrate you not telling the truth, I've never met you, talked to you, or even know who you are. So how would you have any idea what I said to yo? Judy is the only person I've talked with on the phone, and She repeatedly kept sympathizing with me, because YOU wasted 4 months of my life, and tried to take advantage of me, by not doing the work you promised to do, nd charging me $350 + whatever you decided for shipping. Why would Judy, and the new branch you just put here in Pensacola, ask me to wait for 3 month "to find and train a new installer," if you were just going to order my windows and say, "Come get them! Stop lying and fess up to to the truth.
