      Mr. Rooter charged me $1531 to change a shower valve. Other plumbers say the job should be about $800. (It was price gouging.) In addition, the job was not complete. There was a hole which allowed water to go behind the wall. We had to have someone else come in and put caulking in the hole. In the past, Mr. Rooter did a good job and I liked that there was a firm quote. I certainly was taken by surprise at how terrible the job was done. I would like a refund of the difference between what I was charged and the market price of the job to change a shower valve.
