    I requested to cancel my membership due to excessive fees being charged on my account. My account was compromised causing me to cancel the payment card on file. I was charged a $53 annual $23 monthly fee for Dec and January along with 3 late fees for each charge. On 1/11/24 I was charged a $53 annual membership fee along with my December and January fee. I was told if I paid the charges owed a request would be submitted to have the late fees canceled. On 1/12/24 I went to crunch in Brandon ** and requested to have the late fees removed from my account so I could use the gym. A representative named **** said he would assist me. He then charged me an additional $53 because I requested to cancel. I advised him I would like the annual membership fee returned since I had just paid it yesterday and would no longer be needing the membership. He insisted I signed a paper that showed I owed a balance and I refused. I advised him that I would also be disputing these charges with my bank as they are not valid.

    The member number is#D064805496.I recently joined Crunch Fitness 1 week ago and participated in the free trial period offered by your gym. However, my experience has been marred by a misleading representation of the terms and conditions by the salesperson who assisted me during the sign-up process.At the time of enrollment, I was offered the rest of November for free. I was assured that I could cancel my membership before December 1st without incurring any charges. Unfortunately, when I attempted to cancel my membership 7 days later, I was informed that I would be required to pay for three months of membership fees in order to process the cancellation. I was then told I had 3 days to cancel and did not so I would have to pay for a 3 month commitment period plus an annual fee. I inquired why would I pay and annual fee for 3 months? I advised *******, who said he was the manager I was misled and was given a blank face. He shrugged at me.This discrepancy between what was promised during the sign-up process and the actual cancellation policy has left me feeling deceived and dissatisfied with Crunch Fitness's customer service. As a consumer, I believe in transparency and honesty when it comes to contractual agreements, and this experience has fallen short of those expectations.I would like to request that Crunch Fitness rectifies this situation by:1.Waiving the three-month membership fee for cancellation, as it contradicts the information provided to me during the sign-up process.2.Ensuring that the cancellation process aligns with the representations made by your sales team to avoid any further misunderstandings with future members.I trust that Crunch Fitness values its reputation and the satisfaction of its members. I hope that you will address this matter promptly and provide a resolution that reflects a commitment to fair and transparent business practices.I appreciate your attention to this matter and look forward to a swift and satisfactory resolution.

    Dates of transactions with Crunch Fitness:November 2nd, 2022 for the amount of $29.99 December 2nd, 2022 for the amount of $29.99 February 1st, 2022 for the amount of $29.99 February 10th, 2022 for the amount of $114.97 Total amount paid to Crunch Fitness: $204.94 Crunch Fitness is a gym. Currently, and since calling them back in November, I am and have been going through an insane amount of health issues. I have been in contact with the gym. As soon as I was able to go into the gym and sign the paperwork, I did and I had assurance that my account was noted, I was suppose to be on a freeze until I was able to return to normal health since unable to visit the gym in my condition and stop receiving charges for a gym membership in which I only visited once throughout due to my medical condition.The business, upon speaking to **** over the phone, said that if I provided them a doctors note or a piece of paper stating my disability they would be able to issue a refund and work with me. In providing that, it was completely against HIPPA violations to ask for a doctors notes or anything regarding my health concerns. I was uncomfortable, however, I am only disability only making $1200 or less a month. I cant afford a gym membership.They are still not willing to issue me a refund. Even after providing personal information regarding my disability. They have not tried to resolve the issue in any sort of matter and I would like to follow through with them issuing my my full return, since promised by multiple employees. I would also like to pursue a complaint with HIPPA for illegally asking for my health information as a business Ticket #CM00831405
