      There is to much to say and not enough room for it on here. This company also known as Iconic Stone Design took $12,600.00 deposit from ** in February 19th of this year. Nothing has been done to our kitchen other than what I have done to try to help. I can tell you this don't deal with this company, I now had to contact a lawyer to try to get my money back so I can get my kitchen done. They don't communicate and they don't care. I have proof of everything and I will share it if need be so no one else has to go through this. It seems to happen more and more these days of contractors taking advantage of clients. If you need proof just let me know.

      On April 16,2022, I paid $2000.00 in cash as deposit for kitchen counters to Melissa, joint owner of Iconic Stone Design. I was told that within the month she would make a template for the counters. Instead it was a month when she messaged me that the design was being provided to them for cutting. I called the number she gave me when another month went by and sent her messages to which she did not respond. Finally, she said she was coming to do the templates in June. She came and said counters should be ready for installation by July 9th. Then there was a family emergency, father was in hospital. Two days later she said that they wanted to install on July 20 and to have a plumber ready that afternoon. I said that I was leaving town on the 20th, so she said they could do it on the 19th. Next day she told me that She was going north for a week's vacation, but she confirmed 19th for installation. I called a plumber for that date. The night of 18th she texted me asking could they install on July 23. I texted back "No, I would be away." Today is the 19th and she texted me today that she had forgotten that I was going away and her brother, the installer, could not fo it perfectly in a day especially as the plumber would be there in the afternoon. I never asked for perfection, nor was I told when the plumber should be there. I assumed to put everything back together. My last text to her was to consider returning my deposit, and I could then hire someone else to do the counters.

Her answer was that there would be no refund and she would get back to me by next morning. She didn't. I tried calling her. She texted me that she was doing a template for another customer and that it was too noisy to talk. On Aug. 9, I wrote an email. To the company: "Your word isn't any good, Melissa. You didn't get in touch with me in the morning, and your text telling me you would call after work has fallen like all the other things you said would happen and didn't. . . .Set an appointment and keep it."
