    I am reaching out because I have been scammed by a shop on etsy. Owned by WesternBid **** I paid 2 payments that total $753.82. One payment on 11/4/23 for $464.31 and another one on 11/17/23 $289.51. This money was meant to purchase beaded flowers for my wedding and the services were never rendered.There was never any shipping information provided and she had told me they would be here 05/24 and when nothing was shipped pr updated I reached out again and she confirmed it would be 08/24. I was led on through conversations with the seller assuring me she was making the product and they would be here a few months after the purchase date. This never happened. I started to get worried and reached out almost everyday in the month of October. She has not replied since being exposed as a scam and has not reached out at all with any information regarding a refund. Her store on **** (BeadworkArtStore) has been removed due to fraudulent activity and I believe she never made the product or had any intention of sending them. The company WesternBid who owns her store has tried contacting her to refund me as well and has received no response. ****** cant recover the funds on their end because it has been over 180 days and I believe she knew this when postponing the shipment of the product. I have been taken advantage of and have many screenshots of conversations where she lied to me about the production and readiness of the package. As soon as I started to confront her about the delay and how I felt taken advantage of she stopped responding immediately. I am a teacher and this payment was a whole paycheck for me that caused me to be without flowers for my wedding. I am distraught and have continued to try and make contact with her for a refund. She is a scam artist and has done this to multiple buyers through her Etsy shop. Please help me recover these funds. I am at a loss for what I can do

    Thank you for bringing this complaint to our attention. After reviewing the case of **** ********* regarding her purchases made in November 2023, I'd like to provide some clarification on the situation.
    The customer made two purchases in November 2023 one payment of $464.31 on November 4, 2023, and another of $289.51 on November 17, 2023, totaling $753.82 for beaded flowers for her wedding.
    Unfortunately, we ended our business relationship with this vendor in June 2024. The tracking number provided is no longer valid, and we do not have any information regarding the shipment or delivery of this order.
    We understand that on September 30, 2024, Ms. ********* attempted to open a dispute through ****** for a refund, but ****** declined to open the case due to the time limit for disputes having expired (which is typically 180 days from the purchase date).
    We recognize the significant financial and emotional impact this situation has had on Ms. ********** especially considering these items were intended for her wedding. While we no longer have a business relationship with the vendor in question, we are exploring what options might be available to assist in this situation.
    We encourage Ms. ********* to contact us directly so we can discuss possible next steps, although we must note that our ability to recover funds from this terminated vendor relationship may be limited.
    We apologize for the distress this situation has caused and appreciate your patience as we work to address this matter.

    I am rejecting this response because: Western Bid **** is completely capable of resolving this and giving me a refund but they are not willing to do this. They offered a minimal compensation and more of the same excuses. This is their responsibility as the umbrella employer to resolve issues with customers you took money from regardless of it you paid your employee.

    Online business selling items for less. Bought water filters which I did receive but it was the wrong item. Ive emailed, called, left messages on their site (Ellisome) for a return but nobody has responded and the phone number doesnt work. Ive reached out multiple times throughout the month. The return window has now passed and I did not get any response. this company is a scam and it is impossible to reach them.

    While the customer states she has reached out multiple times via email, phone, and through the website, we have thoroughly checked our communication channels and cannot find any messages from the email address provided *********************** It's possible that communications were sent to incorrect contact information or there may have been technical issues preventing these messages from reaching our customer service team.
    We take customer satisfaction very seriously and would never intentionally ignore return requests. We would like to resolve this matter promptly, even though the standard return window has passed.
    We encourage Ms. ********** to contact us directly at [your customer service email] with her order details so we can arrange for the return of the incorrect item and provide a proper replacement or refund.

    I ordered some parts for my car from this company on July 26th. All the parts arrived with the exception of a "Hardened Carbon Fiber Spoiler" priced at $239.99. I've made multiple attempts to work with the company towards a refund or replacement of this item and they have not made any progress in over a month. They also do not update me as to the status of this claim unless I reach out on my own accord. This is an unacceptable time-frame for resolution of a product that was either 1) not shipped or 2) lost in the shipping process. At this point, I want to be refunded for the cost of the spoiler.

    Purchased goods from Soviet-Power.com by PayPal for $290.00 who use Western Bid for payments or is the 'merchant of record'.Quickly realized after reading various consumer protection resources hundreds of scam related reports. Immediately canceled order.Can not recover money.Currently going through PayPal disputes.Given the mounting incidents and reports of users terrible dealings with Western Bid **** I'm deeply concerned about the lack of action taken by PayPal in this regard and am reaching out to senior level people at PayPal.

    this company is a scam! i wish i saw that the etsy seller was working through western bid *** before i ever made a purchase. the product i received was faulty (the stand i paid $150 extra for had SPLINTERS all over) and the pieces from the board were loose and fell everywhere regardless if it was in a still standing position. i raised these concerns with the seller and they took weeks to respond to me. i escalated the claim through paypal and western bid only offered a measly refund of $50. i refused it because the amount of money and time i now have to spend fixing my baby's birthday gift is MORE than $50. and for whatever reason and lies that western bid told paypal, paypal also refused to cover these defects. this is complete fraud and this company employs terrible business practices. please don't make the same mistake as i did and make sure you avoid this company and etsy sellers as well.

This additional amount was agreed upon through our private correspondence.
    We understand your frustration with the product quality issues you experienced, specifically the splinters on the stand and loose pieces on the board. We take product quality very seriously, and we apologize that your experience did not meet expectations, especially for an item intended as your baby's birthday gift.

    This company is trying to process a charge using my PayPal account for something I did not order. The charge if over $100.00. I have never done business with this company. On the same day the charge showed on my account, I received a text showing a passcode for my PayPal. I did not request a passcode. This was tried 5 times in a row and obviously somehow they made it work. I want this company to delete this charge immediately.

    I paid *****usd for a set of handmade pink tarot cards that came with a hand made matching bag and box on oct. 22, 2022. I did not receive it when I asked about why the tracking information showed that it was stuck in ***************** for over a week. I was told that I gave the wrong address information and then the item was being sent back to her the person who works for western bid incorporation on Etsy. Her name on Etsy is tarot cards, dark forest. Her actual name is ******** supposedly. After telling her that the address that I gave her actually, indeed, was correct, because I ordered two other items from two other shops from Etsy as well and receive both of those items with the same exact address that I gave her, she then told me that she would resend the package out, but requested that I repay the shipping fee of like eight or nine dollars or something like that to which I responded that I didnt feel like I should have to pay that over again because it was not my fault that the item did not get delivered properly. My name is on my mailbox. My mail person knows me personally, so theres literally no reason in the world. Why if she put the address on there with the correct name, the way that I sent it to her that it shouldnt have been delivered to me. I requested a refund directly to her and she told me that, rather than give me the refund that I directly requested, she was just gonna pay the shipping and resend the package out to me. To which I responded what does that mean? Are you going to give me my refund and send me the package or are you just gonna send me the package? And from that point on Ive been getting ignored. I messaged her yesterday asking for the the updated tracking information since she said she was sending the package out again received no answer 24 hours later today this morning at about 745. I messaged her again asked her so youre just gonna ignore me? I said once again that I was requesting a refund. Was ignored, so I went to PayPal.
