1 starI took my mustang 5.0 to the shop, I dropped it off with a half tank of gas, I got it back with a quarter tank of gas. They revved it and pinged the red line as soon as they started it. When I stood up to pay they questioned me like I stole the car. They told me my bill was 270 on the phone then they charged me 550.00. I would not recommend taking your vehicle there because the place will highway rob you.Bobby Likis Auto Service

1 star• On September 09/22/2024 , I called bobby likis about fixing a specific problem ( Secondary DTCs po748 pressure controll solenoid "A" electrical ) . The receptionist said there is a standard analysis costing $ 158.00 totalling $188.00 after finished . The store manager said that the whole transmission was bad and would cost anywhere from $5000 to 10,0000 to fix ? The transmission was and is functioning right . The engine gave us an error code p0748 and we simply wanted that fixed ! I then asked the manager how much it would cost to fix pressure control solenoid A .He said he wouldn't fix it because of warranty issue ? I asked the store manager for documents of analysis and he said no they are not given to customers ? I maintenance my car and transmission is functioning good today . I lost 188.00 to be told i need $5000 to $10,000 to repair solenoid A ?
• My complaint correlates well with the other complaints on file with the Better Business Bureau. I'am a disabled widow ; who would very much appreciate being reimbursed for cost of analysis and being denied repair of a simple solenoid . D.C.Review fromElaine Z

1 starNot even worth a star. This place is overpriced, even for just labor. Unfortunately my usual mechanic wasn't able to do any repairs on my vehicle in time for me to be able to go out of town for the holiday weekend. So I called 4 different places before I called this one, and they said they didn't take appointments but I could come in around noon and they would have my car ready. All I needed was for them to replace a head cover gasket, manifold gasket, spark plugs and my car needed a full synthetic oil change. I bought all of the parts at Auto Zone, where they also buy their parts from ( because there was a delivery every 5 minutes there, from the same person, which I don't know why she couldn't just deliver them all at once, but that's another story). My regular mechanic quoted me only $350 for the labor (minus the spark plug replacement and oil change, so I estimated it to be around $500+). Anyway, I was told that it would take 3.5 hours to do what I asked them to at this place since it was only one head cover gasket and not two. She (owner/manager?) quoted me $1,100+. WTF?!?! I got there close to 1pm and drive my car out of there close to 5:30pm. Needless to say, she knocked it down (like it was a sales pitch) to a whopping $796. Ridiculous. And my freaking car is STILL leaking oil!! I learned my lesson. I should have read all of these horrible and scary reviews before even calling this place. No wonder they have a fancy lobby area. Never again.Review fromRoy E

1 starApril, 2024, thought Bobby ***** still owned this shop. They never told me different until much later in my meeting with them. Buying a 2019 Ford F150 and wanted to get them to check out and see if there was any problems with this truck. They said that they preformed this service and I purchased the truck. I decided (still not knowing that Bobby ***** was no longer part of this business) to have them fix the front end issues that they said was in need of repair. Left the truck there for a day and when I picked up and drove, it was pulling to the right still. Took it back the next day and they said that it would be a quick fix. 4 hours later they never ordered the part that they forgot to put on the day before and it would cost another $150.dollars, but that was their cost, since they missed it. Another hour later and the truck is still not done. When asked about the status.... again, they informed me that their employee working on the truck was involved in an accident. The manager told me that it is not their problem and that I had to contact the other driver as it was their fault. I called and their insurance as very nice but told me that they would have to wait on the FHP report before they could do anything. One week later the insurance rep called me and advised that per the FHP report, the employee of Bobby Likis was at fault. I contacted the manager of Bobby Likis and they said that I needed to contact my insurance company. After my objections, I finally was able to talk with the owner, Alex. After a while he offered to fix the damage but only at one shop that he had a relationship with. This business had only been in business one year. At the end of this, I had to get my insurance involved, pay my deductible, and now have a vehicle with a wreck on it. I would never recommend this company to anyone and I am telling as many people as I can Stay away from this outfit, they are exactly as auto mechanics are stereotyped.....shady, untrustworthy, and dishonest!Review fromGeorge H

1 starNovember 2023 I took my 2020 Ford F150 into them for a check engine light on. They said both Catalytic converters were blocked and I could not take it out of the shop for safety reasons. Changed both cats and both and O2 censors. Work was done, so I thought, got 20 miles away and the check engine light back on. This happened 6 times in 8 days. Ruined my vacation. Got home to AZ, told by the ford dealer that Bobby Likis put on one Ford cat and one non Ford cat. They also stripped one of the O2 sensors. Also the Dealer told me I was greatly overcharged. that statement from a car dealership. I called to talk to them about this. Talked to Alex and he said someone would call me, big surprise, never happened. Followed up twice and still nothing. Don’t go near that place.Review fromBrian P

2 starsI took my truck to Bobby Likis Auto Service to have an exhaust manifold leak fixed. I was later inform that they would have to pull the engine to make the repair and it would more. Two weeks later I was told that my truck had a cracked passenger side head assembly which would require additional charges. After 6 weeks I was told that my truck was ready. When I received final bill,I notice charges for a timing chain and timing chain tensioner to which I had not consented. They were only able to produce the old manifold. I had previously requested all to be give all old parts. They said that they had sent them off or disposed of them because I had not made the request on an agreement form. The sales representative refused to tell me where the old parts were sent. My truck is now running worst than it was before I put it in their shop. The overall service was very poor. 1 starJuly 2023, $5600. Likis mishandled warranty, put $3300 of this at risk, very stressful. They did 4 jobs, all with bad issues. Audi A3 drove in for Oil Change and Water Pump Leak. They kept it three weeks, manipulating me to let them do other jobs. (1) Oil change -- got an alarm for low oil when i finally got car back. (2) Water pump leak -- several mistakes costing much time, wrong parts ordered; struggled technically with re-attaching a manifold, damaging an internal part. Later, we went to Audi and they said the wrong bolts had been used for the manifold. (3) While waiting, they did a brake job on all four brakes... mechanics are now telling me the rear brakes are not new... (4) Upon discovering my warranty, they told me the Valve Cover Gasket needed work... made me wait days for warranty inspector visit. (4a) I'm frustrated how they handled Warranty -- they "bundled" the Water Pump and Valve-Cover Gasket job, tying my hands... they did get the Warranty Company to agree and cover $3300, but on the very last day after three weeks when I came to get the car they disappointed me... I called the warranty company and they said Likis had REFUSED to give them required information to prove parts actually purchased and work actually done. I had to surrender the $3300 to Likis or they would hold my car hostage... the warranty company settled with me separately and after a delay, but recommended never to use Likis. Summary -- 4 jobs -- two technical failures, two jobs they are unable to prove they actually did and/or may not have been needed. Anything good to say? The front people are quite transparent about all these messed-up issues; they seem to have developed skill sets for handling traumatized customers to whom they have provided these kind of gross failures.Review fromLow W

1 starTook my car for Transmission pan replacement. Got scammed and lied to, they gave me a false invoice for service never performed. Lost my key to car, Never replaced anything on the car still had pan same problem as day one, sent my car elsewhere without prior call, text, email notification. Got the entire events on film/audio. This place should be shut down for extreme bad business. Willing upload all content to Youtube and FB for proof. also reached out to FTC and filed complaint. Cost me over $5000. WHY SCAM YOUR PAYING CUSTOMERS. WHY SCAM SO MANY PEOPLE. WHY ARE THEY STILL OPEN AND CONTINUE TO PRACTICE FRAUD? WHERE IS CLASS ACTION?Review fromJOHN T

1 starGarbage!! Bad service bad customer service!!! I went in for front break pads and low beam light they fixed the break pads but added rotors that I ddt need and ddt call to tell me or ask me abt them. And they forgot to fix my light. The manager said the rotors and breaks come in a set but I got charged for breaks and rotors. So after talking to them on making this right there solution is to give me a free oil change! They can keep that I got lawyers involved now!!
