    This preschool is not licensed with the state of Florida. This information was not disclosed to me. Upon checking the DCF website I discovered this information. There are multiple safety issues like not being able to sign my child in and out of class upon drop off or pick up. They allowed a family member to pick up my child without checking their ID. After two weeks I took my son out and I was refused a refund.

    I did speak to this parent (Lauren ********) she told me she was removing her son from our school due to her concern regarding our check in/ check out system. I did go over our policy and procedure for this. She also said that she was not happy that we were not licensed by the state of Florida. I did explain that we are members of FACCS which an accredited agency recognized by DCF for religious exempt facilities and that we obtain our religious exempt status through DCF yearly. It states in our handbook that a 30 day notice is required if you are unenrolling a child. Since receiving this report I have spoken with Ms. ******** and have agreed to give her a refund for the remaining days in the month that her son did not attend. I have followed up with our finance department and the check was processed today and will go out in the mail this evening. I hope this resolution will be acceptable to Ms. ********.
