      SCAM ALERT
      1- they advertised licensed and insured yet, they were operating without a qualified license holder and their liability insurance coverage doesnt cover when they subcontract out the work.
      2-they submitted a forged roffing affidavit using the name/license/signature of the old qualifier- this person admitted under oath, he had stopped signing the roofing affidavits.
      3-they performed unpermitted work on my roof which was caught by the escambia county building official
      4-they pulled an additional permit for the unpermitted work and made 4 appointments to finish the job, but abandoned the job.
      5-over 6 months, I sent them + 40 emails agreeing to have the tarp to be removed to complete the work, yet they claim I refused.
      6-the roof failed 5 days after they claimed the work was finished & passed escambia inspections by submitting the forged roofing affidavit.
      7-they refused to accept full responsibility for the over $70k in damages they caused
      8-their insurance company denied the claim due to subcontractors performed the work- they dont have coverage for subs.
      9-my insurance denied my claim due to unpermitted work, unfinished work, code violations, poor workmanship.
      10- I hired a forensic roof engineer to come out and identify the problem since Solid Roofing said they didnt cause the roof leaks. Solid Roofing received the report on Nov 18, 2021. Brent Etheridge earned his own roofing license on 12-3-21 Having a roof license for 1 month, the owner of solid roofing, disputed the engineers report and never came to the property to inspect the roof failures.
      11- I requested a STATEMENT OF ACCOUNT and they failed to send me any accounting of their bill
      12-I sent them a 558 notice of the construction defects and they never showed up to inspect or fully respond.
      13-the roof is incomplete and they abandoned the job yet they are suing me for breach of contract
      14 contract states payment is due upon completion of project-work not complete & they still filed a lawsuit

From the initial consultation to the completion of the project, their team demonstrated a level of professionalism that exceeded my expectations.

      Solid Roofing did an amazing job with the replacement of our roof. Our home was damaged in a tornado in January & their rep, Daly, was at our home within hours to access the damage to our home & have it tarped as quickly as possible.
      Daly walked us through the claim process & explained the differences in the different types of shingles that are available. He also provided great insight on how to bring our roof up to current code to save us money on our insurance in the future.
      Their roofing crew was amazing & kept a very clean jobsite. I think we had more people working on our roof than any of the other contractors that we've seen in our neighborhood. I would highly recommend Daly & Solid Roofing to anyone that's looking for a quality job from an honest company.
