      Buyer beware! There is a small sign adjacent to the cash register area that says that “vanitys” are non refundable and this is printed on the receipt, which you get *after* paying, of course. Based on my experience, customers would do well to take this to pay attention to this (misspelling aside); I wish I had noticed it when I purchased a bathroom vanity from them. When my plumber opened the box of the vanity I had bought, we found that it was badly damaged. I had to proceed with the installation because the bathroom could not be without a sink. I emailed The Warehouse and explained the situation, asking if they had any options for me. I was pleased to receive a response saying they would give me a replacement and apologizing for their not checking it when I bought. Apparently it is their policy to so do, but they did not check mine. When I went to pick up a new one, however, Don first implied I was lying and that the damage didn’t exist. So I showed him the pictures of it. Then, he implied my contractor had caused the damage. I explained that I was standing right there when they opened the box, and it came out of the box damaged. Then he said my contractor should not have installed it. I explained again that I couldn’t leave the bathroom with no sink So Don said he would give me a replacement but I would need to bring back the damaged vanity. This is not what I understood from and confirmed in the email exchange (for a number of reasons, bringing it back would be complicated and expensive), but apparently the person I was emailing with was on vacation. All of this left me with no viable option but to write off the cost of the vanity and its installation, and start all over again, buying a vanity from a reputable retailer this time. Lesson learned—but it was an expensive one.
