      Coast concrete poured a slab for us. It took 3 trucks to complete. The only issue is with the second load. The concrete was delivered 2 hours late then another 2 hours in between loads. First one had set up before the second even showed up, which left a huge cold joint. The second load also never set up properly even after the finishes working on it for 12 hours. It still has swirl marks and pits. They also ran over the form boards which we had to repurchase and reinstall. And also destroyed the new permit box. We originally stopped payment on the first check due to the condition of the concrete. We waited 4 days to hear back from ******* to try to resolve the issue. ******* stated that the concrete was up to par and just wanted the bill paid in full or he would put a lien on our property. We have paid in full but are in no way satisfied with the work theyve done. They have not tried to work through this with us at all. We have documented everything with photos and screenshots.

      In response to this complaint.

      After checking our delivery tickets which include recorded arrival and finish times we can confirm that the time elapsed between the second and third trucks was 70 minutes and not the 120 minutes indicated on the complaint. In the ready mix concrete business there are many variables that are out of our control such as heavy traffic, detours, and previous jobs in the day that are taking longer than expected. The quality of the concrete delivered met all desired specifications for that particular mix. We had our quality control manager visit the site and he determined that the project was going to finish in an acceptable manner. We are not disputing that the deliveries were not on time and up to our standards. Our resolution to this complaint will be a follow up inspection of the project within two business days of this letter and a follow up with customer if any defects are found to be reasonably unacceptable to both parties we will discuss a fair resolution for both parties.
