    In late May of 2023, we had our boat professionally ceramic coated by a SystemX detailer. The interior material instantly turned our cushions yellow on our brand new 2023 Chaparral 300OSX. The professional detailer used harsh chemicals to remove it and agreed it was his fault, but asked us to wait to see what happened. As we began to see deterioration, we reached out to the manufacturer directly and the detailer. The detailer is now saying that the deterioration is a "manufacturer defect" and SystemX has failed to contact us about their guaranteed warranty. We suspect they're trying to run out the clock on the warranty. T We also had the exterior ceramic coated and the coating is almost all gone. We recently had the boat detailed and the detailer told us the ceramic coat is no longer protecting the boat. He even offered to do it for free with the same material. Bottom line, the detailer promised us resolution and has no changed his story; the company itself has a warranty that they do not stand behind and the cost to repair/replace is between $10,000-$20,000, which we simply can't afford right now.
