March 2024 this general contractor's crew broke the water main to our home while preparing an area to pour concrete. The crew did an incorrect plumbing "repair" that caused a water leak that showed up in March 2025 when we received a high water bill. We had to pay $300.00 for someone to find the leak under the concrete slab they had poured. We had to pay another $450.00 for a licensed plumber to repair the leak, The plumber told us the repair was done incorrectly because the crew glued cpvc pipe to pex pipe. Pex pipe has special crimped fitting and cannot be glued together. Ultimately, the "repair" failed. In our opinion, the crew should have notified their boss - in this case Bucky Larue, General Contractor - before they made a plumbing repair they were not trained or qualified to make. It would have saved us - senior citizens - a lot of money and headache. We have reached out to the contractor but he has not responded to us.

I got a phone call from the homeowner March 2025 saying I owe $800.00 a year after the project was completed. Prior to that phone call I have not spoken to them. I was not made aware of a problem supposedly done by my company. There was a pipe damaged accidentally which was not install correctly in the beginning the pipe was not buried properly and it was not the main it was a reclaim water line and it was repaired. He the husband said he was going to send me pictures and the invoice for me to reviewed which was never received. Which gives me a reason to believe there was another problem area in the pipe that was not caused by my company. This is not a new home and with ageing pipes, connection fail over time. Had he call before the repair we would no problem coming out to address the problem If it was determined it was us, I would have no problem fixing the issue free of charge. As for responding I did respond and stated a couple of times I did not receive an email. As homeowners my suggestion would be if a contractor that you feel damaged something and you think it was cause by the contractor give them a call because I'm sure they would have no problem coming out and in fact it was damaged by them they would have no problem fixing the issue. We all live together in the community. We as contractor are here to improve your home not to create more problems.
