The date on the signed Purchase Order is 4/21/2023. Demolition began on 6/19/2023. Drywalling began on 6/21/2023.A deposit of $5,500 was paid on 4/21/2023. That check was given to ******************************* ********************. On 6/19/2023 Kelly Epling, Pres. asked for $1,000 for gas and traveling expenses. On 6/21/2023, Kelly Epling begged me for another $1,000 because he was broke. He said he would take it off the balance due. I was conned for $2,000. A total of $7,500 was paid by checks to Kelly Epling Cabinet Specialist. The balance due back to me is $5,250 for the the unfinished project. The work agreed upon was to demolish the existing cabinets and countertops, drywalling, and installation of new cabinets, and the electrical and plumbing work.I requested a valid license for doing the plumbing and electrical jobs and a valid Contractor license. I never received proof or valid licenses. They told me you dont need a Contractors license to demolish or install kitchen ***********************. I do know in the ****************, you need to have a valid Plumbing and Electrical license. *************************************** assured me he could do all the plumbing and electrical work himself. I know for a fact, *************************************** did the plumbing and electrical work for other kitchen renovations. The drywalling work done by Kelly Epling was unprofessional. He was incompetent and couldnt finish the drywalling. Another guy came to fix the drywall and install some tiles, but he also did a poor job. *************************************** did the drywalling and most of the kitchen renovation, but he had just quit the business so Kelly Epling was trying to do all work by himself. He did have a young man help remove the existing cabinets.Kelly requested $5,882.97 to order the cabinets. The cabinets were not put on hold, so the cabinets were unavailable for six months. Kelly verbally abused me in front of the designer. I told him this was not working out. I would like my deposit back. He said, I have no money.
