    During my visit on 08.26.2024 at Lighthouse Medical Center (**********************************************) I was presented with a treatment plan for my neuropathy. The facility provided me with a cost breakdown of my insurance coverage and my responsibility. I agreed on the charges without knowing that these numbers were fraudulent, and no cost estimate was ever submitted to my insurance. I contacted my insurance on 08.28.2024 to verify and I found out that the items and the services listed are fully covered. I was in shock. It became clear that there was intentional dishonesty, and I sent a cancellation letter to Lighthouse Medical Center within the 3 days allowed by the Florida Statutes 2024 (Title XXXIII REGULATION OF TRADE, COMMERCE, INVESTMENTS, AND SOLICITATIONS Chapter 501 CONSUMER PROTECTION). I do have a copy of the certified mail receipt. In addition, I have asked politely to have the issue resolved in the appropriate manner and have the billing adjusted. I have cancelled the scheduled procedure twice via mail. I did not receive any response or explanation from Lighthouse Medical Center, instead, they charged my credit card $4,293.00 for services I did not receive. I had a brainstem cavernoma resection, leaving me with severe nerve damage. I was hopeful of finding some help and I was not prepared to pay a bill for treatment I did not receive. I have kept record of my correspondence and I would gladly provide you with more details. Thank you for considering my complaint. I have high respect and admiration for the healthcare providers, and I am devasted by this experience- financially and emotionally. Thank you!

    I am rejecting this response because:

    1. I agreed to sign the attached Agreement based on inaccurate information I blindly trusted.

    2. Because of the forged charge I cancelled the Agreement timely. There is written proof. Please refer To Florida Statutes 2024:

    Florida Statutes 501.017

    Allows a buyer to cancel a contract with a health studio within three days of signing it, without penalty. The buyer must provide written notice and receive a refund within 30 days.  
    Rescission and reformation
    Legal remedies that allow parties to modify or cancel a contract. Rescission returns the parties to their positions before the contract was formed.  
    Cooling-off rule
    Allows a buyer to cancel a sale for future services within three business days of signing the contract. The notice does not need to be in writing.  
    To cancel a contract in *******, you must provide written notice within the time and form required by the contract or by law.

    3. I did not have the pellet procedure and I could not be charged for a service I did not receive.
