    On July 6, 2023, All Weather Protective Systems, installed a front door. The door manufactured by E.S. ************* The door never closed properly because the rubber at the bottom where the door meets the threshold keeps falling out. All Weather has come out to my house to "Fix the Door" a total of five times and the door is still not closing properly. The last visit by a repairperson was on October 5. He could not explain why he rang my bell because he spoke no English and I spoke no Spanish. After making signs to each other, he called All Weather and they spoke, I was assured that my problem would be resolved. I was assured that the problem was fixed I gave him a bottle of water and he left. However, the door was glued shut. I had to forced the door open. I sent an email message to All Weather informing that I my door still has problems. The response basically was that if I was not upset and shouted, the repairman would have fixed the door. I want to have the problem fixed so that I can use my door and close it properly.

    As the customer alluded to, we went to the home several times to address her concerns with the Door. We assisted with reconnecting the weather stripping, We again went to replace the weather stripping even days after asking the manufacturer to send us new thicker weather stripping that unfortunately did not fit. Our last visit to the customers home went horribly as she was rude and disrespectful per the service agent. We feel we have done all that we can do in this situation.

     To assist, we contacted the manufacturer to help take over the service request. Her concern is a manufactured part, and might they have better resolution working directly with them. We have attempted several times to assist as in-between for her and the manufacturer, but ultimately unsuccessful in meeting her standards and for that we are deeply sorry .Customer Name, Phone Number, Address and Concerns were given to the manufacturer for future contact.

    I am rejecting this response because:  I did not have a contract with the manufacturer of the door, my contract is with the installers. So, this vendor has no responsibility.  I just had pressure cleaning to my front walk and at the entrance and water leaked at the door.   He did not like the fact that I was upset, so he gets to say I am not fixing your door.  My door is supposed to be hurricane proof not water should seep through the door frame.

    I tried calling but was not able to reach you. We left a message for you to call back. Unfortunately, water from a pressure cleaner can manipulate any area within a wall even tear through your doors caulking. The same caulking that will prevent rain or water from a storm that could come in your home. We respect your wishes to not deal with the manufacture. The only other solution I can come up with is to remove the door completely and reinstall the door. This way our team and you can test the door and make sure it opens and closes to your liking. Will also request a satisfactory letter from you for our records and yours after the door is complete. If this is satisfactory to you, I will need to order new covers from the manufacture to assist with removing the door to later put the covers again for you not to see the screws.
