If I can give the preschool a no star, I would. My 4 year old was suppose to start his VPK schooling today and today was also his last. I received weird phone call from the school stating that my son can no longer be in the school because he keeps walking out of class. 1. who is watching my child ( that means either one, you don't have enough teachers per class or two, you have some lazy teachers that is not paying attention) I am paying you to teach my child and to also watch my child 2. How is he even able to walk out the class and no one notices until he reaches the front? Why are the doors closed 3. How dare you label my child as a "liability". No you guys are the liability! You guys are the adults , are are not paying enough attention to what my son is doing and are allowing him to leave the class. My son has never been to daycare or any school, he's been at home this whole time. So him going to school is new to him. He's never been exposed to a classroom and let along this long of a time frame. They didn't even give my son a chance, he didn't even last a day. They could have waited a few days or a week to see if he would adjust to this new environment. They didn't even allow him to show whether or not this would be a habit or a first day thing. He was so excited to start school and now I have to scramble and find another school. Please don't take your child there if you think there is where they will be patient with your child. They wont, and a part of me feel like they are racist. My child passed their little "trial day" but couldn't get through one day of school. I call BS. They couldn't even look me in the eye to explain to me what happen, and I never got a chance to meet the teacher.AGAIN, Beware of this school, find another school! Your Child best interest is else where, not with Sherwood. They are all smiley in the begining, but trust me, they are not here for your children. They will neglect your child and try and say that your child don't listen
