    Description of the Complaint:I am writing to file a complaint against SMF Limited LLC, specifically against an individual named ***** Fleuimont of SMF Limited LLC. My husband and myself contracted ***** to create a website, and he was paid a specific amount ****** for his services. However, ***** failed to complete the website and has refused to refund ******, despite initially agreeing to do ******* is a timeline of events:Agreement and Payment: I paid ***** the agreed-upon amount for the development of a website. March 2024 When I followed up about the status of the project, ***** communicated that he would send my money back. He cash app by husband 200. and told me he would send my ****** back on square because that's how i paid him. Excuses and Delay: ***** claimed he had to assist his family during hurricanes, which delayed the refund. He assured me he would return my money after the hurricane situation ********* Further Communication: After the hurricanes, I continued to contact ***** to request the refund, but he stopped responding to my messages. I have made multiple attempts to reach him through text messages, but have received no response.After further investigation, I have learned that ***** has reportedly scammed other individuals as well, leading me to believe that this is a pattern of fraudulent behavior.I request that the BBB investigate this matter and assist in obtaining a refund for the money that was paid to ***** for services that were not rendered.Desired Resolution:I am seeking a full refund of ****** which includes the fees from the credit card that was paid for services not completed. I would like the BBB to assist in resolving this issue and ensuring that ***** is held accountable for his actions.Thank you for your time and attention to this matter.
