    I totally agree with you. Sounds like the same nightmare we had with them. Tell your friend to prepare herself for the closing meeting. That is where they hit her with the hammer, with a lot of fake charges and invoices. They lie to you strait in your face. Have her to check the grouting of the tiles, as we had to redo all later and moving all furniture, when this could have been prevented, as we discovered it the day after we got the keys. Their supervisors are useless

    I am writing this review for a friend who is in the process of building with Quality Homes-Port Charlotte. I have no idea who is writing 5 star reviews for this company because based on her experience, they are garnering a negative 5 star review from her. She doesn't want to post anything for fear of further delays or some sort of retaliation by the company like being charged more or subquality work being done. So far, since May of 2022, her home is still not built. There is the absolute MINIMAL communication with her contractors. They're terrible at giving her any sort of response. She sends regular emails to 3 different people asking questions and never hears anything back until she has to resort to texting the sales manager. Ridiculous for a 5 start company. They originally told her that her home would be finished by April or May of this year, but now say MAYBE JULY! And still won't give her an approximate date and her project manager won't take her phone calls. What kind of business does that?? The blatant lack of communication is very frustrating. She has become so disillusioned with this company and I hear her complaints regularly, so I couldn't stand it anymore and had to say something so other people are not subjected to this subpar operation. I've been to the house many times myself to check construction, and so far, the work that actually has been done is very nice. In fact, it looks almost finished and I don't see what else needs to be done that will take until July to do. In addition to issues with the builder, the landscaping company - ***** Landscaping, (who my friend was forced to use by the builder) is equally horrible. Very minimal communication and many missed appointments by ******* from ***** Landscaping. If you're thinking of using Quality Homes of Port Charlotte, think again or buy a house that's already built and save the time, money, and headaches you'll be subjected to with these people.
