    i went to Charlotte Optical, **** in Port Charlotte ******* on November 20, 2024. I ordered a pair of glasses from ******** ******, Charlotte Optical, **** I went to pick up the glasses on December 19, 2024. I am a senior citizen and $834.00 for a pair pf glasses is a hardship on me. I am almost 70 years old. The glasses weren't right from the beginning and I immediately that her that something wasn't right with my vision, She said to to take them home and if they still aren't right to bring them back within thirty days. When I went back within the thirty days they told me they wouldn't cover the cost and could do nothing for me. I cannot see with these glasses so the $834.00 is just wasted. We went there three times. The last time she wan't there so we left a message for her to call me. We haven't heard from her. We asked for a refund and were told the I could't even though I went back within the thirty days.

    I just want to say that I have been doing this job now for 25 years and there is deffinitely two sides to a story.

    First of all when pataients get glasses and they have a change in thier prescription, we always tell them to try them for about a couple of days to a week and if you cant see then come back and see what is going on and maybe they would have to see the doctor back for an rx change.

    we never tell patients that you have 30 days and then we do nothing. We have a 90 days policy for any changes to the glasses and will be more then happy to remake. Our policy here is no refunds but we will do anything to get the glasses right.  (within the 90 day window) 

    So everything the patient is saying is not true. I didnot see them 3 times as that is not true as well I personally saw them once to dispense the glasses and so did my coworker to adjust.
