Took my car there power steering leak was told I needed all other types of work done price 3800 dollar my car has ***** miles on it and they told me they would only do the work if I had all of it done at that prices only no discount or just repair the leak must have all other work they said need done I have ohio plates so they though I was desperate and stuck in port orange Florida not knowing I live here I told them I thought that was extremely high and then they try to get me to apply for a credit card I refuse then I decide no to much money I rather think about it or trade my ****** Then the *** said he would buy my truck for 3000 dollars. And he would buy right now . I refused took my vehicle and left. There scammers run try to rip me off. I asked if they were apart of ********* they said know but they have signs everywhere of ********* then the *** started talking about the mechanics I had in **** were no good they did not do any good to my car thats why they need to overhaul it But them not knowing the last place my car was check at a ********* 2 months prio and everything was check out good no over haul need car was told in great shape for its age Well maintained they said But this best tire place is shameful they did me no help just try to take almost 4000 dollars from me and wanting to buy my ****** Highlander for 3000 this place is awful will report to the Bbb for there treatment of myself as a Female. Run for your life DONT TRUST THEM AT ALL AND I KNEW IF I PAID THE 3600 dollars they were going to add more to that once they took my car apart the bill was going to get higher and higher NO THANK YOU.Customer Answer

Hello, I see the paperwork your provided is a quote for work that was given to you looks like you came in looking for a quote on some work. No work was performed on your vehicle, we do offer and provide free quotes to any customer that requests it. The reason we cannot find you in our system is because no work was performed, and no charge was incurred to you. I am rejecting this response because: this does not address the issue I came in to have my carlook at and was given an outrageous prices because your employees thought I was from **** and was desperately try to get back driving my car from the ohio tags once I would not agree to I was told to apply for credit through ********* which I also refuse then your employee told me he would buy my car for 3000 dollars cash out the door
IVe never heared of such buy my car he repeated it several times and I knew then I was about to ripped off for sure and I was told even after spending that much money I still made need to spend an additional money for car ************* tryed to take advantage of me trying to buy my car and quoted me a repairs of over 3500 dollars car was taken to another auto shop repaired for under 900 dollars This company try to buy my car after I refuse to spend over ***************************************************************************************** recommend them to others stay awaywho would want to get service done to there car after your employee that works there is trying to buy it for 3000 dollars bad business practices I would never use this company

I had an oil pan gasket replace by this company about a month and a half ago it cost me $900.00 I went the other day 6/10/2024 to have oil change they said they could not do it because drain plug was stripped The told me it would cost me $700.00 for new oil pan I told them it was there fault the the plug was stripped it should cost me nothing they told me they would do it for cost which was still $425 i had them do it cause I was leaking alot of oil.Told them I was going to file complaint with BBB they said go head I found out they have an F- rating I want a full refund for the oil pan and gasketBusiness Response

******* came into our location on Monday 06/10/2024, for an oil change. Upon removing the oil drain plug, the threads of the customer's factory oil pan started to come apart and we stopped immediately. We brought the customer into the shop, where he was shown that the internal threads of the pan were coming apart. The customer saw the issue and asked the price. He was advised it would be $700 to replace the oil pan. He then stated he did not have the money to fix it right now. ******* asked us to tighten the drain plug and he would drive it home to park it until he had the money for the repair. We tighten the drain plug to the best of our ability. We further advised ******* that oil may sill leak and he acknowledged that he understood. ******* called back on Wednesday 6/12/2024 saying that he would like to have the car fixed and asked if there was anything we could do to help on the price since he was a regular customer. We told him that we would work on the price and do it at cost, as good gesture to help out a long-standing customer of ours. We told ******* the cost on parts and labor would be around $400. It should be noted that ******* also had a broken belt tensioner that brought to his attention. He was also shown it was broken he decided to have that fixed simultaneously. We completed the repairs and called the customer to pick up his car. He paid and picked up his car without issue. On Friday 6/14/2024 he has sent serval emails stating that we ripped him off and he wanted his money back. We called ******* immediately and left him a voicemail due to him not answering. A day or so went by and never heard from *******. Monday, 6/17/2024 we receive another email stating he was contacting his lawyer in regard to the situation. We called ******* and again received no answer, so a voicemail was left. The customer finally called back Monday afternoon stating that he was ripped off and that we damaged his oil pan. We advised ******* that he was shown the issue in the shop on the day of service and that the oil drain pan internal threads were coming apart. ******* stated if you're not going to give me all of my money back, I will call my lawyer and contact the BBB and hung up. We have attached work orders signed by the customer. We attempted to resolve the issue in other ways; however, he refused to reason and would not speak to us.Initial Complaint

On 12/29/23 i made an appointment for oil change, tire rotation and 29 point safety inspection. I arrived an hour early and told Craig if it was okay that I arrived sooner cause if they cant take my car in we were to come back at our scheduled time. He told us not to worry and he will have it ready soon. We waited Hour and 30 mins. Finally the mechanic f pulled the car out and had to wait to be checked out Craig finally finished his phone call and started ringing us up. When i asked Craig did they find anything wrong with the car about, he rudely and loudly said that the last time they inspected my car and found issues, I shopped around and got it done elsewhere and therefore they wont inspect it again if i wont repair the suggested repairs at their shop right there and then he also said you should have taken the car there. I was appalled at his arrogance and attitude and him dictating me that I cant shop around for better prices.When I questioned what took so long since they didn’t even do the so called 24 points free inspection, he said it was my fault that i came in early he had to take care of his appointments first which he failed to tell me when I checked in !. All this was taking place with another customer sitting there waiting and i am sure she heard everything that was being discussed . I was embarrassed, emotional, and shocked and i simply just paid the amount he charged me and as i was walking out, Craig said next time don’t bother coming back. I was so upset and shocked and felt uncomfortable, unwanted simply because i was a smart buyer and didn’t fell prey to his outrageous repair costs and drove out of there quickly as possible. After i got a hold of my self i did called the shop back and Talk to Brad and explained how i was treated and asked him for the number of the owner since it’s privately owned . He said he don’t have the number but he will pass the information to the owner and they will contact me . As of Today 1/4/23at 3:15 p.m no one has contacted me. I have also noticed the next oil-change reminder sticker has not been changed with a new updated sticker ( see attached ) so I really don’t believe they changed my oil either I therefore like to have refund since i did not get the services i paid and i was entitled to.Business Response

Initially, you called on the phone on the day of your appointment and asked if we could get you in early. We respectfully told you we were very busy and we could not accommodate an earlier appointment. Following, you proceeded to arrive two hours prior to your scheduled appointment and ask our service manager if we can get you in early. Since customer service is what we like to provide the best of, he kindly advised you that we would try our best to accommodate your request but be mindful that we had other appointments ahead of you that we must take care of first. It should be noted that, your appointment was made for 3:30pm and your car was complete at 3:56pm. So indeed we did get to your car earlier than your scheduled appointment time, as we tell all of our customers oil changes with tire rotations and a full safety inspection takes 1 hour.
Pricing is subjective; however, we are less expensive than competitor's shops in this area. We further try to accommodate our clients and try to make pricing within budget for our customers based on the repairs needed. We also offer 24 months/24k mileage nationwide warranty that covers parts and labor.
Furthermore, we did perform everything dictated on the invoice, oil change, tire rotation and a safety inspection. Everything that was recommended prior, was fixed and nothing further needed to be noted as an issue, as explained. Craig explained that due to your bizarre behavior in our lobby full of customers, he remained professional and advised that you were informed to not return. We were notified by the credit card company a dispute change for your $15.96 oil change even though the service was performed.

The above statement is completely false as i had never called and told to get an earlier appointment i just happened to arrive early and When i reached the lobby Craig never said that it will be ready by 3:56 even after i told him that i arrived early and if he cant take me in, i can run errands and come back he just said to wait
as far as oil change i have attached the picture of the old sticker where it shows the mileage before the so called oil change. Craig did tell me he DID Not Perform the Inspection Because I didn’t get the stuff they found wrong with the car replaced there. I did not behave outrageous or neither was I disruptive to Crag or any one there at all and if you have cameras I would love to see my interaction with Craig post the video here . I also have a Witness who can verify my behavior as well as how Craig spoke to me andCraigs behavior and the conversation that took in place. I have made complaint about this incident on BBL the very next day and waited and since i did not receive your response or the refund , i had Instructed my credit card company to take the necessary steps as you did Not change my oil or any services you claimed you did. I am rejecting this response because: it is entirely false. First of all when i made appointment with Brad over the phone i was the one who wanted the 3:30 appointment and i NEVEr called back wanting to come in two hours earlier. I happened to have my errands done and asked Craig if he would take me in otherwise I understand and i can run around to the stores and be back at 3:30. After waiting there for what it felt like an eternity, they did not change the oil and did the inspection nor the tire rotation as the car windshield still has an older sticker from previous oil change done on April 2023 . I also attached the proof of the invoice stating the date i paid for the oil change which was in December 29 2023. I was told the inspection wasn't done cause i went elsewhere to had the repairs done that they recommended from my previous oil change in April 2023. Furthermore the Owner or supervisor or Service manager nobody had contacted me after my repeated requests to get a call back from someone other than Craig to rectify the situation. I file the complaint with BBl on 1/4/23 and had no messages nor a call back from the business till today 2/1/24. Hence i have instructed my bank to dispute the charges. I also have a witness that can vouch for my behavior at the shop and with Craig that can testify that i was not acting Bizarre or disruptive and unprofessional. He was the one who was rude and disrespectful and unprofessional telling me they cant and will not do inspections cause i took my car elsewhere. There wasn’t lobby full of peopleYou wish you did but there are better repair shops out there lmao your arrogance just baffles me There was only one lady there. I would like to see the proof of my so called Bizarre behavior by seeing the video recording from the camera you have in the lobby area and my whole interaction with Craig as well as so called inspection report that you lied and said it was done when Craig clearly stated it wasn't done. Post them here as i posted my picture where the oil change wasn't done.

I went to best choice yesterday, December 13th, 2023 to get an oil change and have my passenger side rear tire looked at because it has a slow leak! I took the wheel lock out of my center consul and placed it in a little caddy. Thats right in front of the center consul. I told the guy what I needed and that the wheel lock was there. they were unable to patch my tire because of where a nail is positioned and upon leaving, he said be careful driving it because its you may get a flat tire and was trying to sell me tires for the car that I cant afford. Which thats fine! But as I was driving around yesterday doing my job I thought about what happens if I do get a flat tire and I looked over and the key is not here to remove the Lugnuts from my tire. I searched the entire car for it. Its not here. I called them this morning December 14, 2023 and told them that I cant find the wheel lock key and their response was we never even took your tire off yesterday and I said well regardless I dont have the key lock for my tire and I need it in order to get the tires changed ! So now I have to try to find a replacement wheel lock key and its not an easy thing. Plus, its gonna cost me money and Im not happy about that!Business Response

Hello ************ told to you on the day of service we provided you with an oil change the tires were UNSAFE to drive on and had wire and cord showing we stated we could not touch the tires and the tires would need to be replaced. You declined replacing the tires with us we never took off your wheels during the service or removed your wheel lock key from your car. You called the store the following day asking if we had your wheel lock key and we stated we did not have your wheel lock key and that we never removed it from your car. The following day a gentleman came up to the store and asked about the wheel lock key again, and again we told him we did not take your wheel lock key and had never removed your wheel lock key from your car. I had a coupon for $43.99 and on my receipt they charged $13.00 for labor. I didn't see anywhere on coupon there was labor charges added until after completion of oil change. So I should've been told before then I wouldn't pay way over the coupon price.
