      Hello,

The storage lease is a month to month lease and rent is due on the 1st of each month. At 39 days delinquent, a demand lien letter is sent to the tenant advising that full payment must be made within 14 days or the items in the unit will be sold at public sale. At 60 days delinquent, the tenant made a payment of $292.04, which paid her current. The payment was for December 1, 2024 rent, January 1st rent, insurance and fees associated with delinquency stages.

I have attached a copy of the payment receipt.

I am rejecting this response because:

It doesnt make sense that my payment would still be accepted if he calls and says not to let me in. I was told that if a payment was not made in person by the end of that day the stuff would go to auction. So why not tell the tenant when he called immediately after I paid that he can come in and pay for the unit then or let it go to auction. As far as any agreements you arent privy too, I have plenty to prove that I was always the one to pay as well as messages from him telling me to go there and I have reciepts for everything that you can see in that unit and I have an Apple air tag that can be played and heard buried under all of the stuff. So doesnt that violate some of the terms of the lease to store someone elses property in there? I dont agree that my money order was not given back to me since it was still there and I was told I couldnt have access within an hour of paying it and coming back in. I understand that its a personal matter and civil etc but it doesnt make sense to take my money and give to the person who is keeping all of my stuff from me. It should have been assumed by you guys that ***** must have wanted it to be auctioned since he wouldnt be making it from ***** by the end of that day so why would you continue to accept the payment from his tenant. Im not the only person that sees that this is wrong to take my money.

      Sincerely,

      **** *****

THE ***** IT WAS TOO LATE AT THAT POINT FOR HIM TO COME FROM ***** TO PAY IN PERSON SO IT SHOULD JUST GO TO AUCTION & HE AND I CAN BID IF WE WANT THE STUFF. EVEN THOUGH I HAD JUST GAVE THE MONEY ORDER TO THEM, SHE SAID THE MANAGER HAS TO GIVE THE REFUND THE NEXT DAY SINCE IT WAS ALREADY IN THE COMPUTER. I ASKED IF MY NAME WAS EVER EVEN ON THE ACCOUNT WITH ********* SAID THEY DON'T LIKE TO PUT ADDITIONAL NAMES ON ACCOUNTS. I CAME BACK IN THE NEXT DAY & THE MANAGER CAME OUT, I STARTED TO TALK & SHE PUT HER HANDS UP, DIDNT WANT TO HEAR ABOUT IT & SAID TAKE IT TO THE POLICE. THE POLICE HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH THEM ACCEPTING MY MONEY BUT NOT LETTING ME GET ACCESS. WHY WOULD I BE EXPECTED TO PAY JUST TO NOT GET MY THINGS. I DOUBT MY EX RM WOULD'VE EXPECTED THAT THEY KEEP MY MONEY. SHE SAID TOO BAD YOU PAID SOMEONE ELSE'S STORAGE, PEOPLE TRICK PEOPLE EVERYDAY! SHE WOULDN'T DISCUSS IT AT ALL. I EMAILED LATER ASKING FOR CORPORATE CONTACT INFO, ITS BEEN 2 DAYS & NO REPLY. I WANT A REFUND.

A payment was made on Unit #**** on December 26, 2024, via money order. The tenant informed us that he did not make this payment and expressed concerns about an individual from a previous relationship. This situation has been an ongoing personal matter between the tenant and Mr. ********************* ***** visited our office after the payment was made, stating that his ex-partner had instructed him to make the payment and that he wanted access to the unit. However, the lease is solely in the tenant's name, and we cannot *************** access without the tenant's permission.

We explained to both Mr. ***** and the tenant that this is a personal matter in which we cannot intervene. We advised them to either file a police report or, if it is a civil matter, to go to civil court. We are not privy to any agreement Mr. ***** and the tenant may have had regarding the payment. We instructed Mr. ***** that he would need to contact the tenant directly to resolve any agreement they had made.

Unfortunately, this is a personal matter that we are unable to assist with further. We cannot provide documentation due to our commitment to keeping tenants' information confidential. We cannot provide documentation due to our commitment to keeping tenants' information confidential.

I rented a parking space at this location to park my boat. The space was supposed to be 10x25 and it was only 8'3"x25. My boat would not fit. I never used the spot! I spoke to the receptionist and they refused to refund me despite the fact that they grossly exaggerated the size of this spot. She said and I quote "That is why we send you back to look at the spot". Never did it cross my mind that they may lie about the size and I should take a tape measure with me. I can understand being a couple of inches off but not 20% off. That is absolutely a deceptive and unethical business practice. Not to mention it's basically CRIMINAL. I just can't believe a business this large would treat a customer like that- not to mention a long term customer. I've rented from SEVERAL ********************** locations throughout the years. The next day after this incident and woman by the name of *******(maybe ******) and apologized and said they would send me a refund. Now almost a month later I have yet to receive any compensation.
