I went into ******'s store on 1-24-24 to have them install a ************** This is an important job because this part controls the main steering on the vehicle. They charges me first was going to be ****** . *********************** then called me a day later and told me they need more parts so the charge is going up to ******, which was very odd . It took them five days because they said they are very busy. So I could not work , they told me that it would have been done the same day if any later next day in the afternoon I would be able to pick up my vehicle. I called them and the *** was not ready. It took them five days. I went into the store and ***** said the *** is perfect now it's working great. I ask them if they drove it and tested it , he and the mechanic both told me that the *** is perfect. I paid them and as soon as I was rolling down the road the truck was making huge noise and bucking terribly, I took it home and called them and let them know. Brought it into them next day. They said to me that the part I bought was defective and that they need to buy another rack and pinion from them and they need to install it and pull the one they just installed out of the ***. And it was going to cost me another ****** . I was very surprised. I felt I was getting taken advantage of. So I took my keys back and took it to another mechanic. Which I did and he told me I had gotten scammed. He took the rack off and reinstalled it right in front of me . He told me that they installed it wrong and left out huge bolts four to be exact . He told me that is nothing wrong with the ************* that was there ,they installed bit wrong. He said your luck that I was not in a serious accident because of the rack controls the steering of the *** and I could have lost it and went into another car very easily. I have all documents for the repairs. Please help me get my money back from these scammers.

****************** made an appointment to install parts that he had purchased and wanted installed. We always explain to customer when they supply their own parts there is no warranty on parts and labor and it is stated on his invoice. The original price of the installation was ****** plus tax to install his rack and pinion, upper and lower ball joints, front and rear sway bar links and do a wheel alignment. We called to tell you your vehicle needed orings for the rack (because none were provided by customer) and that we could only locate them at the dealer and they were a few days out (2006 gmc envoy). The orings were an additional ***** plus tax. Which brought the bill to almost a thousand. We did not want to keep your car but had no choice. You charged back your credit card the whole amount so we disputed all but what you paid at the other mechanic. You have been refunded already for the money you spent at another mechanic. We did test drive the vehicle and when you brought it back in we did look at it and tell you it was something with the rack. I attached an image from Alldata showing the two bolts that hold the rack in. I am assuming these are the bolts he is referring to. I do know that without those two bolts in place there would be no way to drive the vehicle. When ****************** decided to charge back his credit card for the entire amount, they included an invoice from the other mechanic and even though I doubt the bolts were missing I thought it was fair to reimburse him for the money he paid by not disputing the entire amount. I will not refund him for hours worth of other work he had done. For this money he received a service.

Bought tires from ******'s on Nov 8. Terrible experience. There was a problem with one of the new tires so I had to drive from Riverview all the way back the next day to get the issue corrected. Apparently they do not do alignments with a new set of tires. I had to schedule that separately. Never hear of that. I fully expect to pay for that in addition to the tires but cannot imagine getting tires and not getting the alignment checked. There were not available appointments for alignment the first or second day I was in there. I had to go somewhere else to get the alignment. Makes sense right? Hmmm.... While I was there 3 different people came in at different times while I was waiting for my tires to get done They had just got a flat tire on the road. The people at ******'s stated they had no openings and could not help. It was not so much that they were so busy but the cold hearted way they treated these people. They really did not care. Today, not even 30 days after I got my tires, I called as I have a nail in one of the new tires I purchased and found out there is no tire protection. I was not offered it because had they offered it I definitely would have purchased it. I was told by the person on the phone today that it was my fault for not asking about it. I was a little stressed as I was trying to get the tires done before heading to ** for a family emergency but not I did not ask about it and they did not offer it. They also did not offer a compromise of any kind. Basically, tough luck! I asked if I could take care of the current tire issue on my own and purchase the tire protection. No was the response. Again, no compromise. I hope the lack of assistance on one tire is worth it as I will be sure to tell everyone I know in ******'s business area how they conduct themselves. To the guy I was on the phone with today I wonder if you would like your mother, daughter or sister to be treated the way you treated me today. Think about that.

Complaint was resolved with customer.  She did not tell you in original complaint that we arranged for a shop in ********* to repair her tire for her to avoid her traveling back to *****************.  All is resolved and taken care of.
