November 11, 2022 I paid SoFlo Tree&Turf to remove a royal palm. I was quoted a price of $750.00 to be paid in advance. I paid the invoice. The crew arrived and said the tree was larger than expected. The owner asked for another $450.00 on November 13. I paid the invoice. The tree was cut down on November 15, 2022. It is still laying in my yard on todays date of November 30, 2022. I have contacted ******, the owner almost everyday regarding when the tree would be removed. I have recieved a variety of excuses. The truck was too full so we will back tomorrow; the company I contract for debris removal has a truck failure so they are behind schedule-tomorrow-then Monday; it rained and stormed the last two days, then the Thanksgiving holiday, yesterdays excuse was I had food poisoning. He said he would be there this morning. At about 3 pm local I asked my neighbor if the tree was gone. No. He said he was at the dump and would get there this afternoon. At 4 pm local I asked if was at my house. He said no but his guys might be as he was a single dad picking up his kids. I asked my neighbor no one at my house and the tree still in my yard.I texted the owner and told him I was tired of his excuses. I would hire another company to pick up the tree and send him the bill. If he did not pay it I would see him in small claims court. I contacted **************** to contest the charges and I left an accurate review on his website. I want the $450.00 back that he charged as an additional fee as he has not completed the work he was hired to do.

Date: November 21, 2022 Cost: $1,500 Services: Tree Removal and ***** Grinding In a response to an **** inquiry, the company called me and came to my home on November 16, 2022 to provide an estimate to remove two trees and grind the stumps. ********************************* was the appraiser. While on-site she telephoned the owner, ***************************. ****** gave me a telephone quote of $1,500 to remove the trees and grind the stumps. $750 as a deposit for the work and $750 to complete the work.On November 21, 2022 the company removed two trees from my yard. They asked for final payment while they were doing the tree removal work. Since they were working at my home, I gave them the final payment. However, only the trees were removed, no ***** grinding has occurred. It has been 9 days, and I've called the company each business day for a resolution. They do not return my calls and I'm left with the stumps and out the money.I've attached the email receipt for the original $750. No receipt was provided for the final payment. I've attached pictures of the remaining stumps.

The complaint is valid as we didnt get out there quick enough due to the holidays and also we were on the other coast also still helping friends and family with hurricane clean up. We are not perfect and we have grown so incredibly fast that I am still working on ensuring every customer is satisfied. Which will never happen however we have taken steps to ensure less mistakes are made. We thank all of our customers and value their business and we appreciate peoples reviews good or bad as it helps show our transparency.
