    We contacted him to reupholster our chair. We paid his deposit, he picked up the chair on March 27 that was 2 months ago. WHEN we can get a hold of him, he says its done, or just have to drop it off, need to get a truck to drop it off, or just came out of the hospital. We offer to pick it up ourselvesno reply. He keeps promising to bring it back on numerous dates and never does. We are really frustrated.

    Found FM Custom Upholstery via an add in a local coupon publication. FM Custom Upholstery had agreed to perform boat cushion and **Top upholstery services, with a promise of 2-3 week turnaround. Initially met with ***************************** at our house on Mar. 20, 2024 to review materials/styles, etc. Settled on a price of $2897, and paid $900 up front for materials, etc. Met with ***************************** at our house and boat on Mar 29. Cushions and **Top canvas were removed and retained by ****************** and his employee ***** for use as patterns. He said he would come by to measure the **Top on 4/10 but we were leaving town, and he said he was running late. We provided a gate code for access, which was never used (the security app tracks this). Talked on 4/17 and he mentioned that large cushion was complete and that he would send photos. Never received any photos of cushions or other progress. Called him again on 4/21 to see if he was still coming by, but he mentioned he had leg issues and couldn't. Asked for a status update on 4/30, with no response. Tried calling on 5/2, immediate message saying voicemail had not been set up. Texted again on 5/5, no response. Texted again on 5/9, no response. Emailed on 5/7, no response. Called again on 5/9, no answer, no voice mail available. Tried alternate number ************ (from BB website) on 5/7, no answer, no voicemail available. Texted to this number also, no response. Tried old business number found online, ************, wireless caller unavailable.After repeated attempts to contact, checked Sunbiz to discover that the FM Custom Upholstery was administratively dissolved in 2014. No active business under this name exists, having searched by business name, owner name (either ************************* or *************************). The address provided on the business ******** page is occupied by another business.
