    I am filing on behalf of my now deceased mother *********************** who resided at the Brennity Independent/Assisted Living Facility located at *********************************************************************************On Jan. 3, 2023 my sister and I relocated my mother to *********, ** for health reasons. We engaged the services of Estate Auction Liquidators (*********************************, proprietor) to clean out my mother's apartment and put up for sale/auction/consignment those items removed. We were provided a signed contract that promised a full inventory of items removed from the apartment so that we could follow on their website their auction/sale and monitor the proceeds less commission. Items removed from her apartment included, but are not limited to, refrigerator, televisions, furniture, electric senior scooter, artwork, clothing, etc.We never received that inventory and several calls/voice mails to ************************ were unanswered/ignored. On March 12, of this year, my mother passed away in ********** and I became the agent of her "estate". I finally made contact with ************************ in April after threatening a complaint to BBB or other entities/actions. He promised the inventory and ultimate compensation for the items sold. More time went by and additional contacts were attempted when finally the promised invoice/inventory arrived by email which indicated we were entitled to $777.50 after costs and commission. A picture of that check was texted to me asking me to whom it should be made out and to where it should be sent. I provided that information several weeks ago now and still nothing has arrived. Further contact with ************************ has been unfruitful.I now firmly believe that Estate Auction Liquidators is a sham outfit, that preys on elderly clients and they never had any intention of paying anything to my mother after removing everything from that apartment

    On October 20, 2022, we entered into a contract with this company to sell the contents of our storage unit either by consignment or auction. The company indicated in writing (email dated 11/7/2022) that we would receive the inventory list of all goods within a week. We have never received the inventory, nor any further contact. We have attempted to contact them both by telephone and the email address they provided with no response. The nature of our dispute is that they have our household goods, and we have not been paid, nor do we have any information on auction or consignment of our belongings. We would accept a cash settlement as fulfilling the contract at this point. We don't want this happening to any other consumer. We don't know how best to accomplish this and are looking to you to help us achieve that.
